Chapter Twelve-
Reaper was walking slowly through the apartment like he owned the place. He didn't spot Revenge until the Black Hero had rammed him into the wall.
"I think I'll batal your contract with the Soviets and Stalin." Revenge said. "And Draxx already has your transport to Arkham ready to go."
"Good offer," Reaper cackled. "But I think I'll pass."
Reaper kicked Revenge in the stomach, causing him to stumble back. At that moment, Sam's mom walked out of the bedroom putting an earring on.
"Down!" Revenge yelled, tackling his mother as Reaper's scythe flew past and embedded itself in the fridge.
"What in the name of...?"
"In the kitchen!" Revenge yelled, shoving his mother into the suggested room before turning to the hooded killer.
"Let's take this outside." Revenge said, tackling Reaper through the window.
The two fell, but Revenge shot his grappling line and swung over to the nearest building.
Unfortunately, Reaper had a trick up his sleeve also. atau his boot would be the better expression.
Grabbing hold of a window sill, Reaper began to walk up the wall.
"Watchdog." Revenge said.
"Yeah?"
"What sort of boots allow anda to walk up a dinding and how do anda stop it?"
"No clue on both."
"Looks like I'm doing this the old fashioned way." Revenge said, and tossed a few daggers into the bahagian, atas of the wall.
They detonated, tossing chunks of bricks and cement at Reaper, but he batted them all aside like they were nothing.
Revenge sighed and grappled back over to the building, hitting Reaper at full speed.
It was like hitting a brick wall. Revenge gasped as he felt something in his leg snap. He dropped his grappling gun and fell. Halfway down, Revenge recovered enough of his senses to pull out his grapple line and hayun, swing it up to the windowsill of his apartment.
Climbing as fast as he could with a broken leg, Revenge jumped in the window in time to see Reaper pointing a gun at his mother's head.
Throwing his last (normal) dagger, Revenge nailed Reaper in the back of the head.
Reaper turned around and laughed, pulling the weapon out of his head.
"I've got a bad feeling about this..." Revenge said.
"Watchdog!" Revenge's voice came over the comm unit.
"Yeah?" Sarah asked.
"Now might be a good time for some back up."
"Did anda just ask for help?" Sarah asked incredously.
"Broke leg, low on daggers, Reaper near success, yeah. I did."
"SWAT on their way. ETA: five minutes."
"Not fast enough!"
Sarah heard a few chops and something exploding, then a groan and a thump.
"Revenge? Revenge!"

"Access Denied."
holly punched the machine again, trying to get the zeta tube to work.
"Please Authenticate."
"Holly Green, B-12." holly berkata angrily.
"Access Denied."
"Damn Piece of-" holly cursed at the machine before remembering something she always carried with her.
Pulling out a black and red device, she plugged it into the machine.
"Please Authenticate." the computer berkata once again.
"Red Revenge, B-13." holly said.
"Access Granted. Recognized, Red Revenge. B-13." the computer said.
holly grabbed her device and shoved it in her pocket before walking out of Germany...
...and into the Cave where Batman, Green Arrow and Superman waited.
Along with Artemis.
"Somebody gonna explain why the zeta-tube refused my clearance?" holly began, still infuriated.
"Do anda want to explain how anda came in under Red Revenge's username?" Batman asked coldly.
"You answer my questions." holly said.
Everyone seemed a little shocked. Everyone except Batman.
"We left anda in Germany because we were afraid-"
"What? That I'd tell anda off?" holly demanded. "That an anonymous sumber would leak your actions to the press?"
holly got in the Dark Knight's face. "What would they have to say then, Bruce?" she whispered.
Batman glared at her, and her back. Superman placed a hand on Batman's shoulder, but the billionaire dressed as a bat shoved it off.
"You will return home, and anda will wait for us to contact anda on your status on this team." Batman said, emphasizing 'will' each time.
holly glared at him for a little longer before stomping off.
"Holly..." Artemis began.
"Shut it!" holly said, facing the Heroes as the zeta-tube warmed up. "Friend." she added bitterly.
"Recognized, Courage. B-12." the computer rang out, and holly was gone.
"This is all my fault." Artemis said.
"None of us could have known she would react like this." Batman said, not facing the archer. "Except me."
