He felt like she needed him and he knew he needed her. An arm nudged him awake from where he had fallen asleep in his chair.
“Robin, go to bed.”
It was Devin.
“No. I'm not leaving her.”
“Becca will be fine, Robin. She may look weak right now, but her inside is strong. She's healing.”
“I need her Devin. I can't leave and worry if she's okay. I've been dismissed from missions because of it. I need to know she's okay.”
Devin stared at her brother. It was evident that his worry was on Becca's welfare. But he seemed to forget his own.
