Erin and Wally sped around the base. Both were having no luck in finding Becca and headed back to the living room. They smashed into each other, falling to the floor.
“Hey! Watch where you're going!” Erin exclaimed.
“Me?! What about you!”
“My base, my rules!”
“Are anda okay?” Willow asked Wally.
Erin huffed and, in one kick to the legs, brought Willow down on bahagian, atas of Wally.
“Erin!”
“You didn't ask if I was okay! Just your stupid boyfriend!”
“Wally isn't stupid!”
“He is and anda know it!”
“Enough!” Talia shouted. “You three are Berlakon like children! Now straighten up!”
Talia's tone was harsh and forceful. All three hushed and just glared at each other.
“Better. Now, since anda obviously didn't find her, did anda guys find any clues?”
“I did!”
Erin pulled a slip of paper from her pocket, handing it to Talia.
“Where'd anda find this?” she asked.
“In her room.”
Talia dropped the paper as if it was on fire.
“What?”
“I'm not picking it up! Erin went into her room! Becca is going to kill you!”
Artemis rolled her eyes and picked up the paper everyone was avoiding. She scanned it carefully.
“Resignation?”
The others crowded around her but Artemis walked away, ignoring their pestering questions. She read the paper, bahagian, atas to bottom, before looking at the others.
“Becca resigned from the team. She left Willow in charge but she's gone.”
“What?! How did this happen?”
“Willow, calm down,” Devin instructed. “We must think logically.”
“You're right Dev. I-I just need to breathe, relax. And think.”
Devin went up to Willow, fiddling with her bag. She pulled out some of her magic, blowing it on Willow. Immediately, Willow seemed to relax.
“Wow! How'd anda do that?” Wally asked.
“It's just dust from an angel's wing. It calms the soul and helps anda think clearer.”
“Sweet! Can I have some?”
Devin blew some on Wally and some on Robin before stashing the rest of it away.
“I'll get something for people to drink. Erin, would anda like to help me?”
“No.”
Devin gave the speedstress a look and Erin groaned. She got up, following Devin into the kitchen.
“This is serious. What are we going to do?” Sylver asked.
“We need to find out where she could have gone,” Talia instructed.
“Gotham.”
All heads turned to Val, who sat on the couch.
“What?”
“Becca is in Gotham. atau at least she will be.”
“How do anda know?” Willow asked.
“Becca's soul is lost. I sense it heading out of Happy Harbor, closer to Gotham. But she will not be Lost for long. And then I will have no clue where she went.”
“We need to get to her,” Megan responded.
“We would be too late. She has become determined. We will not change her mind. But we should look for her before-”
“What happened Val?”
“I'm sorry Willow. I Lost her. She has found her way. I can not find her.”
“It's okay Val. At least we know where she went. Now we need to figure out why.”

C'mon. Did anda really expect me to end it there? XD
Epilouge:
Slade moved into the room. He bowed before the dark shadow. The voice spoke to him.
“You failed me Slade.”
“I know master. But she is stronger than we first expected.”
“Yes. I know. I expected as much from her. But we now have her in a dangerous position.”
“Master?”
“Shade must make her choice. She has followed the Light for seventy years. Now, she must choose whether she is willing to risk everything atau to continue to play hero.”
“And if she chooses hero?”
“She won't.”
“But Master-”
“Shade thinks she is in the clear. But I have one last trick up my sleeve.”

Robin:
i decided to take a quick walk to get Artemis and Wally's yelling out of my head. there where little snowflakes falling and frost gathered on the ground, the harbor had a happy Christmasy feel to it, i walked sejak a little group of kids and they were singing.
"Dashing through the snow, in a pair of broken skis over the hills we go crashing into trees bam, bam, bam the snow is turning red i think i'm almost dead woke up in the hospital with stitches in my head" the song was odd but the kids were laughing, anda just had to smile, but then the kids went on to the saat verse.
"Jingle bells, Batman smells," WAIT WHAT?! my eyes widen
"Robin laid and egg," I glare and stomp up the sidewalk, but the kids are still singing
"The Bat-mobile Lost its wheel and Joker flew away HEY, jingle bells, jingle bells.........." i mutter stupid kids
