Redemption Prologue

"Have anda retrieved everyone that I asked for Kuro Tenshi" asked a masked man as he sat down.
"Yes, everyone will be arriving soon" replied Kuro as he stepped out of the shadows. Kuro looked pleased with himself for not having Masquerade reprimand him for failing yet another mission.
"Check on our prisoner and see how she's doing" ordered Masquerade, Kuro only nodded back into the shadows to check on Mauve. As he reached the dungeon-like rooms on the lower floor of the building, Kuro noticed the light scratching of a rat's claws. He reached his arm up and shot something out of his palm, smirking as the now Frozen tikus hit the ground and shattered. He continued on his way until he reached a room marked with a capital M on the door.
"So how's our little pet today" sneered Kuro, as he put a cold hand under the fourteen tahun old's chin, yanking her head up so she was looking straight at him.
"What do anda want ice demon" berkata Mauve defiantly as she was forced to look into the cold, lifeless silver eyes of the boy. The boy tsked before letting go of Mauve's chin, smirking at the young girl's defiance.
"Nothing for now little girl" was Kuro's snide reply

Meanwhile at Mt. Justice

"Scar! Cole's scaring Kitty again!" shouted Blade from the living room. Scarlet, who was currently in her room Membaca got up and headed to where berkata conflict was taking place only to get tackled sejak all three.
"Aahh! What the; what was that for" questioned the red haired, fire-caster as she hit the floor. Everyone who heard the noise was now standing in the living room watch the four team members.
"What are anda guys doing" asked Lucas as he looked down at the pile of the two girls and their pets. Scarlet looked up and blushed as she saw that everyone was staring at Blade, her and their two pets.
"What are anda all staring at haven't anda ever seen someone get tackled sejak her friend before" asked Scarlet as she pushed herself up into a sitting position.
"Guys dinner's ready" shouted Megan from the dapur as Infinity helped Scarlet up. Everyone headed to the dapur area where Megan and Zattana were setting plates for everyone.
"Man I'm starving" berkata Wally before he got elbowed sejak Willow telling him that he was always hungry. After makan malam, majlis makan malam everyone went either to their rooms atau the living room. There was silence before someone berkata something.
"Recognized Robin B-01" berkata the zeta tube as Robin stepped into the cave.
"Does anyone find it strange that it's been so quiet lately" berkata Robin pensively. Willow and Becca nodded as the rest of the group looked puzzled.
"Not saying that isn't weird but shouldn't we enjoy the peace and quiet once in a while" added Phoebe nonchalantly as some of the others wandered into the room.
"I'm a little worried though I mean ever since Aero's last attack it's been a little too quiet" Mercy added quivering at the thought of their last encounter. Infinity suggested that everyone call it a night and that we could all use some rest after being so stressed. With that everyone wen their separate ways for the night.

Scarlet tossed and turned in her katil before sitting up suddenly. She was covered in a cold sweat after seeing the horrible memories of her past and the foreboding feeling of the future. "I have to t-tell.....someone about this" stuttered Scarlet uneasily

Chapter Two-

Alexa slipped through the dinding into the tiny jail cell. Making sure no guards were around, she tapped Joker on the shoulder.

"Alexa my darling!" Joker said.

"Shh!" Alexa said. "I've come to get anda out."

"Oh, but they were already doing that." Joker said, indicating the group sejak the door.

"And who would this be?" a voice with a thick Russian accent asked from the dark.

"The darling I was talking to anda about earlier." Joker replied, cackling.

"Count Vertigo." Alexa said, bowing as the figure stepped forth from the shadows.

The two bats and a bird fired their grappling lines at the ceiling, Artemis following their example. Robin grabbed Kid Flash and Batgirl Zatanna, dragging them onto the walkway.

"Well, well." Joker said. "The Batman does it again."

"And the Batgirl." Barbara added.

Joker cackled. "Well come and get me then!" he said.

As we walked through the halls of WayneTech, we exchanged nothing but silence. The sebelumnya predicament still left us shaking, and now we were out to cari for more. It was obvious that Scarecrow knew of our presence, which is why he had the gas sprayed all over the building. Every now and then I heard rats squeaking, glass breaking, and spiders crawling, but none of them so much as gave me a start.
Oddly enough, Robin knew his way around the building. Without getting lost, we retrieved and destroyed much of the fear serums, but we weren't done unless we found Scarecrow.
