Never Alone- Final
((SilverWings PoV))
The aura of the room was familiar to me. Just the purple walls, soft carpeting, and the katil sitting in the corner made me almost queasy with longing.
Homesick. I realized that I was what I was feeling at that moment. Longing to go curl up on my bed, turn out the lights, and stare at the galaxy of glow-in-the-dark stars on the cieling. Yet, standing in my bedroom with my hands clasped behind my back, my clothes still dripping wet, I also felt a sense of shame and guilt. The feeling only deepened when Blaze looked up from the file in his hands up to me.
I lowered my eyes, for once wishing the bat hair-pin didn't keep my bangs from falling in my face, hiding my expression.
"When were anda planning on telling me about these?" my mentor asked, indicating the file of names and addresses.
Thirteen, who stood on my right, stepped forward, "We wanted to find some form of evidence indicating-."
"Can I have a moment alone with my protege, please?" Blaze cut in.
"Nic," Ruse said, looking sternly at Blaze as if to correct him.
I could feel Immunity, who stood on my left, shifting her wieght with discomfort. I felt another pang of guilt. She had been free for barely an hour, insisting upon following us back from the warehouse to my apartment, which had become our HQ, and now she was getting her first impression of Blaze, the not-so-sympathetic pain-in-my-ass hot-head.
"Aleksander," I said, my need to concentrate on somehing to ignore my inner termoil of emotions giving me the courage to look right at Blaze now, "why don't anda tunjuk Immunity around?" Thirteen looked heart-broken, as if he were a child being dismissed while the adults talked important business. I knew the feeling well, though didn't want Immunity to have to be present when I started a conversation that I knew would end in an argument.
Thirteen led a grateful Immunity from the room into the hallway, Ruse trailing behind them. The door clicked shut behind them.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked Blaze instantly. "Immunity saved my life, Thirteen almost took a bullet for me, and you're being a jerk!"
"I'm being a jerk?" Blaze waved the folder in his hands. "At least I'm not keeping secrets from my mentor."
"It wasn't a secret."
"Really? Then why did Thirteen sneak out to get anda this? And then again to go to that warehouse?"
"Because I knew anda would act like this."
"Act like what, Ary?"
"Like I need your permission to live my life," I yelled, finally giving into to my built up frustration. "I don't need anda telling me what I can and can't do. You're not my dad, and you're defiantly not my brother." I stopped for a breath, and Blaze ceased the opportunity.
"I'm not trying to be your dad, atau your brother. I'm only trying to keep anda from getting yourself killed."
"I'm not purposely putting myself at risk! I'm trying to find Daemian." My voice cracked. I felt the rush out of me and with it, my strength. Quickly, I sat on the edge of my bed, collapsing on the plushy comforter.
Blaze's eyes softened slightly, the burning api, kebakaran of anger leaving behind starry blue coals.
My face grew hot with embarrassment and I put my head in my hands. I felt completely ridiculous, wining like a five tahun old who was told they couldn't ride the merry-go-round.
I didn't look up as the katil shifted under additional weight.
"Aryess, we will find Daemian, I swear," Blaze said. "But getting yourself killed in the process won't help anyone. If anda had alerted me of the senarai of names and the fact that they were a link to Dae, I would have willingly let anda go. I know what your brother means to you."
"Everything," I said, sliding my palms over my face, removing my mask in the process. Staring at the gray fabric in my hands, my voice became a barely audible whisper. "He means everything to me. Without him, I have no lebih family. I'd be alone."
"You have us, kid," Blaze said. Glancing up, I saw him gazing at the closed door of my bedroom, as if could see Immunity, Ruse, and Thirteen, picturing our team together. "We are your family," he look back at me and met my gaze. "You'll never be alone."
This turned into an icky sentimental moment, but it's defiently a good link for the seterusnya story, Hauntings. Thanx for enduring it!

Remember when I telah diposkan asking for 10 komen-komen in 2 hours? That's how I picked the lineup for this. I couldn't decide who to put into it, so that was my strategy.
A team is a whole, parts of differences, secrets, and love.
Of brothers and sisters, two wings on a single dove.
There's the new gal, a sweet little kitten,
A crazy fireball, the brightest spirit, always sizzlin'.
The sharp shooter, aiming straight,
The mysterious goddess, rising against fate.
A wise lass, green thumbs for knowledge,
A sisterly leader, keeping an order all must acknowledge.
And one with a broken heart, yet the biggest one.
All a team, all a family. One in the same. True for all that come.
Can anda guess who is which?
P.S. 66Dragons helped with this!

Revenge stumbled away. The woman looked at the needle in her hand. The blood within was mixed with a strange brown mixture. Revenge gripped his arm and glared at the woman.
"A simple test will tell me who is beneath the mask, Red Revenge. And your secret will belong to me."
"Not likely." Revenge growled.
"Oh, but that's not all it does." she continued. "It poisons the blood stream. Corrupts the DNA within cells and eventually kills them."
"Nerve gas."
"In a liquid form, yes Red Revenge."

How did I survive?
It was peaceful
Then they came
They took all ‘smart’ and ‘intelligent’ ones
They burned our houses
They burned our city
They burned our people
They almost burned me
She almost burned me
I will never forget her face
Long hair
Blue eyes filled with fire
Angry...
So angry...
She held api, kebakaran in her hand
It didn't hurt her
The api, kebakaran just danced in her hand
She looked at me
Then my parents
Then me
She burned my parents
I ran
It was hot
So much fire
So much burning
I ran
I hid
I dissapered
Now I am here
I am Rostlina
And I am going to kill the api, kebakaran casters.
