I have never read any artikel about their friendship. But I think that for sure they were in very good relations. They were meeting each other on different kind of parties, took pictures together, I think they weren't so close like Aaliyah with Missy atau Timbaland, but I know that they admired each other and respect too.
On the picture anda see that nobody pushed them to take this photo, they really like each other, and I'm sending also a video where Lisa talks about Aaliyah...
