Hetalia is rated MA since it's a bit racist in a sense. Like since it implies that Italian's are weak and Cinta pasta, atau that Americans's that are loud mouths that eat fastfood. These are steriotypes but sometimes young kids might watch it and think of the steriotypes so they rate it MA to be selamat, peti deposit keselamatan from lawsuits. Also France's pervered momments and Italy could also be another reason why Hetalia is rated MA...

Are anda sure? I watch it on Netflix too and it says "not rated". Besides, I watch other animes that are way lebih violent/sexually explict, most of which are only rated TV-14.

It's rated MA 'cause young audience might don't get it...
like for example the character's line contains some stuff the older audience might get but the young audience does not so... that's the reason I can think of

It might be because of many reasons. For example, how Belarus wants to become one with/marry Russia, which might be, in some circumstances, viewed as incest, atau it might be due to France...and well...how he was almost completely naked at the Olympic games except for the leaf that covered what was in front, it might also be because of the time Chibitalia and Holy Roman Empire kissed, which might've implied some gay stuff and how it has alcohol, suggestive language, and the fact that in world series, Italy asked France what the meaning of sexual act was (and France gave an example-ish type thing) might just add to all of this...probably not the racism part because that is kinda "normal" nowadays. It might also just be that there is lebih adult themed events than child themed events.
