Cyberpunk is a genre of Anime that was especially popular in the 90's, a subgenre of scifi that centers around the idea of "high tech, low life". It's often characterized sejak hackers, gangs with tricked out technology, the existence of cyberspace, a dystopian city lit with neon, and a political atau social change that takes place in the story.

My kegemaran cyberpunk Anime would be Akira, though the Manga is fantastic as well. What's your kegemaran cyberpunk Anime and why?
