Chapter 1 : Beginnings
Two 4-year-old twin girls were waiting with baited breath in their pink-walled bedroom. Their father would come soon, to take them to their mother and introduce them to their newborn baby brother. Isabella flopped down on her bed, her reddish-brown hair spread out, bored. She tiredly opened her green eyes to turn and look at her twin, Ilana, who was also in a similar position, but had her dark brown hair in a ponytail. She too was staring at her sister with her brown eyes, though not as tiredly as her.
"When is Papa going to come, Lana? I'm tired of waiting,", whined Isabella, who just wanted to see her brother and go to bed.
"I don't know, he won't tell us anything!", berkata Ilana, in a slightly annoyed tone. She and Bella, as she liked to call her sister, had been waiting for hours now, with no sign of their father.
Slowly, the door opened, and the girls got up, excited. They would finally see their brother! But instead of their father, a maid entered. "Your parents, the Duke and Duchess would like to see anda immediately, girls", she said.
The girls raced down the stairs to their parents with excited squeals, and flew into their father's arms, tackling him in a hug.
"Where's ourโ " started Isabella.
โโlittle brother?" finished Ilana. They finally managed to get a good look at their father. Instead of a cheerful grin and bright eyes like they expected, they saw an almost expressionless face and his green eyes like Bella's, were wet. The girls looked at one another. Was their father crying?
"What's wrong Papa?" berkata Isabella, as gently as she could.
Meanwhile, Ilana spotted her mother on a bed, silent tears escaping her brown eyes, her reddish-brown hair was messed up, which never happened. "Mummy?" she asked, rushing to her mother's side.
"Come here, Lana. anda too, Bella."
"Mummy, what's wrong?" "Why are anda crying?" "Where's our little brother?" "Why is Papa crying too?" came the soalan one after the other.
"Your father and I hate to say this, butโฆ" Duchess Tabitha paused, still crying, wondering how she should continue.
"But what, Mummy?" asked Bella.
"Your brother is gone, girls," came the reply from their father.
"WHAT!? NO!!"
"And now, I have to go too," berkata their mother, her voice cracking, now hugging them as tight as she could.
"No, anda can't leave us! We Cinta you!" sobbed Isabella, unable to believe what was happening. Her whole life was turned upside down in a mere matter of minutes!!
"We Cinta anda so much! We'll miss you! anda can't go!" Ilana cried, her, her sister's and her father's lives would be ruined without their mother!
"I have to, I'm sorry, my darlings,"
"We've done everything possible for your mother girls, it just won't do. She has to go, no matter how much she loves us. It's the only way," Their father said, fighting back tears of his own.
A few lebih minit passed, in which several "I'll always Cinta you" s and "I'll miss anda so much!"s were exchanged. But the minit passed too soon, and the girls and their father were left hugging their mother and wife, respectively, with no hug in return.

Meanwhile, in the Royal Palace, things were absolute bliss. A young five-year-old boy, with blonde hair and blue eyes was laughing uncontrollably, as his blonde-haired, green-eyed mother ticked him on his katil to wake him up from his nap.
"Alright, Randolph, now come on, come down for lunch, your father wants to talk to you," berkata his mother, Lucinda, lovingly.
"That means he's gonna say something boring, isn't he, mom?" The boy named Randolph said.
"Randolph Peter Royals, your father doesn't say something 'boring' whenever he talks to you! So stop saying that!" Lucinda chided.
"Ugh, fiiiine. I'll be down soon," He groaned, and pushed himself of the bed. "Can I at least know what he's gonna talk about?"
"No."
"Aww, please."
"No, Randolph, sweetheart."
"Okay."
As it turned out, his father didn't say something boring after all. Instead, it was amazing! After he slid down the staircase banister and headed for lunch, the first thing his father, Peter, berkata was: "Randolph, son, I have good news for you!"
"What sort of good news, dad?" Randolph replied, curious.
"Your finally going to get the horse-back riding lessons anda asked for!"
"YES!! FINALLY! This is brilliant! Thanks, dad!"
Yes, things in the palace were definitely bliss.

A/N : Here's the first chapter! What do anda think? I hope anda didn't cry like me, poor Bella and Lana. Please R&R. I'll accept all reviews, including criticism. Just no flames, please.
Edit: Okay, so I read the chapter after posting it, it wasn't as good as I thought, kinda tacky actually. I DEFINITELY need improvement. Bye!
