I have been listening to the 1982 hit "Heartache Avenue by The Maisonettes" on Youtube, which is a favourite of mine from many years ago. Some people have claimed on the video, that one of the backing singers is Cheryl's mother. Is this true? One of the backing singers does resemble Cheryl a bit, and could be her mother 30 years ago. I'd be interested to know the answer, one way or the other.
