Will New Karate Kid Movie Involve Any ular tedung, cobra Kai Cast? Series EP Clears the Air | TVLine 

As Cobra Kai co-creator Jon Hurwitz made clear on Twitter this weekend, “The guys and I would love to make Karate Kid and Cobra Kai movies and hope to someday. But this one isn’t from us or focused on the Cobra Kai cast. Don’t know much about it, but wish it well.”

I hope I am pleasantly surprised. But honestly, I dunno if I care if it isn’t Cobra Kai adjacent at least.
I guess I don’t see how it’s gonna be part of the original KK storyline and still be canon without doing at least some character cross-over. Prequel? Sequel? Weird.
