That's the impression I got, what with him falling to the staircase, the pan up with the song about "ascending" ("Blue"), the bintang fading away. However, I'm not against those who want to say Spike is still alive. I figure we put up enough with death in real life, we shouldn't have to take it from fiction if we don't want to. We just tell an alternate version of the story. In my universe, I have decided to let Spike rest in peace, but if anda atau anyone else doesn't want to, that's okay.
i want to think that he is faking his own death a saat time.he came back to do what he wanted.and must fade away once again atau become the head of the family.which why he left in the first place.
I can't really say for sure if he's dead atau not. "I've never officially berkata that he died. At this point, I can tell anda that I'm not sure if he's alive atau dead." So we can't really tell for sure if he's dead. I do believe he's dead with the fading bintang and the text saying "You're gonna carry that weight (to the casket)" And when anda just look at his face and how he is bleeding, his eyes are half closed and has a breaking voice. So I believe he's dead, but I don't prove it. Maybe it's just belief, just like you'll have belief if Santa Claus is real atau not.

I've subjected the last session to scrutiny that it probably was never supposed to have. :D I did not see him die. I didn't the first time I saw it - I still can't understand why some people think he's dead. I think roughly half the people who saw the series think he lived. That plus Mr Watanabe's statements (and the fact that official buku written about the series don't set he died) tells me that it's ambiguous. Those who think Spike lived and those who think he died are equally wrong. That being the case - I didn't see him die, so I say he lived. :D
"You're Gonna Carry That Weight" - that's the song that the Beatles wrote to tell the peminat-peminat that they broke up. That's what that means. Has no bearing on whether Spike is alive atau dead - just that Bebop is over, just like the Beatles was over.
The fact that the soalan is still being asked pretty much proves that it's not an obvious answer. Shinichiro Watanabe himself berkata he didn't know if he was alive atau dead, and when asked, usually says he's probably just sleeping. Some of us think he's alive (I didn't see him die), others think he's dead. Others don't know. I think that's intended.
If anda ask me personally, I'd say no, he didn't die, but realistically, I think it's supposed to be ambiguous.

I don't get it. Are anda talking about that anda had your eyes closed at the part where he berkata bang atau did anda just not see it when anda watched CB on Adult Swim?
I saw it. I have the DVD (don't watch the dub on Adult Swim). I saw him say 'bang' and drop. I also saw that there was absolutely NO blood whatsoever on the front of his clothes. Plus the way he was standing there after Vicious died, showed no signs at all that he had a catastrophic abdominal wound (like he did in BoFA when he was shot on his way to Vicious. It doesn't add up.
