well I'll admit that Ian was what draw me to watch TVD ! and Damon is my favorite character but that's not the reason I started shipping Delena...since the beginning of the show when I was "Who's my favorite character, do I like this show? after came the question of who to ship???" Stelena just happened in episode 2" episode 2. I was ok with them but no buil up, no nothing ,all so random and then came the Delena kitchen scene in 1x13 and that was it!!! I fell for them then and there! and loved them ever since...you can't blame us DE'rs for being shallow when we search for dept, for angst and for a proper build up!!!! as for Ian, known him since Lost and followed him since then...

Yeah! Every DE fan has her reason why she bacame a DE fan. L.J.Smith can't just going saying the DE fanbase is shallow. I mean, we all watch TVD and some have read it she's insulting her own fanbase! What a stupid thing to do!

I don't think you understand exactly how this spot, or Fanpop for that matter, works exactly. TVD spot is open to everybody that likes TVD, their ships, and to all discussion, but the shipping spots are sarcred. They're our safe havens. And our safe haven does NOT include SE. Especially positive SE-ness. Hell. No. If you want SE, go to the SE spot, if you want to debate about SE vs DE, go to a spot that is open to ALL TVD couples. But you should NEVER under ANY circumstances infiltrate somebodys safe haven.
