As it stands right now, Stefan is no longer in the picture. He's ran off to sertai Klaus to keep Damon alive. Damon, played sejak Ian Somerhalder, will have to save his brother seterusnya season, but will he take the opportunity to steal Elena, played sejak Nina Dobrev, away from his younger brother.

Stefan looks at Elena like any normal guy who loves their gf would. However Damon looks at her like she's something soo precious and she too good for this earth (1x19, 2x01,2x04 etc)

I've also noticed when Damon looks at Katherine, his eyes are searching...searching for something he can't find. Think of the SE hugs where Elena was looking at Damon atau how she totally jumps in shock when Stefan walks in on them together. Like she was caught red-handed stealing from a cookie jar.
