I'm curious about this anime, but my 17-year-old brother told me not to watch it. Should I watch it anyway?

I started watching Death Note when I was 14. When the English dub aired on Adult Swim it was rated TV-14, so if you've seen M rated anime, I don't see why there would be a problem. It's a very dark series and it can be bloody, but it's one of my Kegemaran and I would recommend it.

That's all well and good that anda have watched M rated animes, but there is a lot of content in that Anime that is pretty disturbing. I think it has also even encouraged mass murders in other countries as well.... Whether this is true atau not though, your brother wanted anda not to watch this Anime for a reason and I think anda should respect his wishes. Though if anda really want to watch it, ask him if he will watch it with you.

I will tell you, there are some bloody moments. No gore, just blood.

honetsly, its realy not that bad! theres alot wores out there, i watched it when i was 12, so im pretty sure anda should be able to watch it :) & its a pretty good tunjuk aswell ^.^ so im sure youll enjoy it!

It's amazing anda really need to use your brain though it's extremely intelligent but that's what's so good about it :D

I'm fifteen and my b rother is 13 years older than me. He actually, half accidentally, half on prupose, got me on to anime. But he didn't know that I read/watch Death Note. So he sees it and says to me "Lady_Rebel, I thought anda wouldn't like this." And I berkata to him, "Halcyon, it's a battle of wits. I Cinta battles of wits." And them Mom chimed in. We had a lovely discussion of Death Note. I don't see any reason why anda shouldn't. Why don't anda ask him why?

i'm 14 now but i'vee watched Death note when i was 11 atau something (it was my first Anime ever)
my older siste told me to watch it (she was 23 years old)

I'm 13 now, but my friend told me about it when I was 10 and I read it when I was 11. I've been too lazy to watch the anime, but I don't see what's too bad, but your brother should now what's best, and take his Nasihat atau watch it in secret.

I'm 12, I adore death note, then again, I enjoy watching darker things, horror Filem and such, but it's not particularly bloody, I'm 15 episodes deep and hooked, and so far the worst I have seen is a guy getting hit sejak a car, even then anda don't see his body. I wouldn't advise children to watch death note, I may be to young but I don't care, the shown has some mild swearing, damn and hell, but nothing too bad

So what happened? Did anda watch it? There are just too many animes to enjoy meanwhile, then when you're older anda can watch Death Note is what I think. It is pretty disturbing. Particularly the end parts. He might not watch it with anda because he himself found it disturbing, so why should anda have to go through that? Before all of this I was wondering if anda minded spoilers so I could tell anda what happens with the end to take away the harsh impact of it.
