How old is Derek actually?

As far as I'm aware they never really say, but if anda count back 6 years (assuming he was 16-17 when his house burned down) he'd be 22-23.

The common answer to this is around 20-21 years, It's the age I've found on other peminat sites, though Derek's age is never really clearly presented.

i think he is 26 in the begining because stiles says when they first met Derek that his family burned to death about ten years lalu and then later we find out that he was around 16 when his family died which kinda makes his age at the begining round 26 if anda count back

I’d say Derek was 22 at the beginning of season 1. Peter says in season 3 that he hasn’t known Cora for 7 years so the api, kebakaran happened about that long lalu and we’ve heard 6 years several times before that so the seven tahun anniversary must be close. The flashbacks tunjuk it to look very cold so I’d say it was in the winter, late 2004-early 2005. This would also explain why Stiles berkata ‘like ten years ago’ because it wasn’t long after his mother’s death so he wouldn’t have been very attentive to other tragedies while he was grieving.
