The series alone was WAY better the two sequels anyway! (Which never happened.)

^^^^^Yes! It annoys me that they expect us to believe that Ariel went her entire childhood without singing??? Also, what really annoys me is that they make Ariel seem like she is really passionate about something, but then forgets about it for another thing. So the entire movie she's obsessed with music, but then by the original movie she's skipping out on a concert to go look for human things (which the prequel gives us NO indication why she even likes the human world, which should have been her actual backstory). Ugh, so obnoxious. Although I will give it props for its wonderful animation.

I agree with disneyprince. At least the tv series showed a few episodes of Ariel exploring human objects.
