Nah I'm just I bit disappointed that no body told me the difference until like the 5th round and that really there's not a difference so I'm sort of bitter about my before choices. I'm fine though, I'm just a cranky mess.

Oh, I want to be in the article! lol :)Merida is a lot smarter than people give her credit for. She was able to decode what the witch was trying to tell her and she figured out in SECONDS that since she was the first born she could arch to. I was like DAMN girl I knew there was a reason your head was so circular! But come on, Mulan easily figured out to use the weights to her strength, quickly figured out how to defeat Shun Yu with just a fan, and she has MAD skills in chess, IMO Mulan's got the brains and the beauty.

As much as I am fond of Merida, I don't think it was wise NOT TO ASK the witch further questions--- like--- will this change just my mother's mind, or will it change my mother's physical body? But Merida doesn't ask that question because she assumes a spell is a spell, and that's what she needs.


Oh, and then she changes her brothers into bears, too, inadvertently.


Mulan, at least, was trying to save her father from another arduous stint in the army. She's smart and uses her brain to defeat Shan-Yu's forces on the mountainside,and then his group of lieutenants, and then Shan-Yu himself. I admire Mulan's bravery, and her (lack of) foolish decisions/choices.

Of course. I'll add in a lot of comments in the article for the top 2 because this is where the best argument will take place.

I think Merida didn't learn as much as Mulan because Merida just didn't want to learn and got a bad education.

I think it's funny how both Mulan and Merida are shown to be lackadaisical in their studies: Merida doodles and Mulan writes cheat sheets on her arms and yet both are very quick-thinking and clever. Although we're never shown what Mulan is taught it is apparent just from her actions that she was given more of an education than one would expect from a girl groomed to be married off. Merida is groomed to be a queen yet it is implied that she still has a lot more to learn. Mulan on the other hand, absorbs everything from the world around her and goes from a klutzy private to the top soldier in her troop.

I'm sorry but this whole countdown is a mess. Some people are picking those that are less smart and some are picking those that are less educated. That's why Mulan made it so far.
Yes she is the smartest princess in my opinion but this is about education. How could a women in China be educated during that time?
