^i agree. And i can't help remember the scene where she's literally clinging all over Eugene after being afraid of a noise from the bush, all reasons understanding for her behaviour but still, grace is not how she handled it then.

Those human legs and crazy over-excited fascination for everything human. And also forgets how to swim.

I mean, considering our introduction to her is a scene where she klutzes her way through her etiquette lessons and fails them so hard that she manages to set her teacher on fire. The main conflict in the beginning is that she's not cut out for the poised and graceful life of a bride.
