Then when Bonnie died, Mammy was glad that Melanie came to visit because she thought that Melanie could help Rhett and Scarlett deal with their grief. She was a great friend! At first I found her a little too sickeningly good but I grew to really Cinta Mellie. The part with the Yankee soldier really cemented it all for me.
