Can someone tell me what happened to Tony is season 7? Never got to watch the whole season:(

Ep 24 of S- 7 tony in a shootout was captured and shot in the hand sejak Jack/renee sent to jail . right before that, tony told allen wilson the man behind the death of his wife michelle Dessler and David palmer in S-5 ,that wilson had killed his wife and unborn child
Tony was not seen atau mentioned in S-8
