Ginnifer Goodwin holds her baby bump while heading out for lunch with her husband Josh Dallas on Friday (April 25) in Los Angeles.

this past week and she talked about her parents’ reaction to her getting pregnant before getting married.

“We may be southern, but it’s also the first grandchild, so they’re not only ecstatic that I’m pregnant but they’re all coming back out here in a couple of weeks to just camp out and wait,” Ginny said.

I don’t know what she means by “we may be southern.” She kinda sounds like if you’re from the south your morals are somehow higher than anyone from somewhere else. Wonder what they thought about her when she was on Big Love. That aside, I wish her a beautiful healthy baby.

I saw Ginnifer on Kimmel..she was quite funny. I do feel for her as she mentioned she still has a few weeks to go and she looked so uncomfortable and swollen. She is tiny and so carring all that baby weight and water must be exausting. Best wishes to her and her husband for an easy birth and a healthy baby.

She looks like she gained 100 lbs. not very healthy.

Jared why do you constantly in headlines and then often multiple times refer to actresses as pregnant? Anyone who reads your blog knows after the first few announcements you make. Do you honestly think your readers te o stupid that they can’t figure it out? And gee why don’t you refer to the actor as the man who got so and so pregnant?

Pregnancy is hard work and you don’t get to choose how your body reacts to it. She’s darling and I wish her a safe delivery and a healthy baby.

some of you are harsh and Ginnifer was a petite woman to start with and those type of woman of small or medium body frame tend to gain a lot of weight while pregnant particularly their first time. Ginnifer is 5ft 6in and normally 120lbs so it’s likely she gained about 50lbs up to this point at 8 1/2 months lets hope she doesn’t go overdue and doesn’t have a large baby women with small chests like her tend to go up a lot in cup size during pregnancy/nursing. other celebrities of a similar build have admitted as much Faith Hill for example admitted gaining 60lbs when she was expecting her oldest daughter Gracie who weighed less than 5lbs at birth at full term 37 weeks on May 5th 1997 but she didn’t get raked over the coals because of her status In country music.

Sorry ladies, but you CAN control your body and your weight when you are pregnant, unless it’s twins or more. It’s called healthy eating and exercise. I have had 4 children and am 5’3. Each baby I gained approx. 25 lbs. and my babies weighed in between 7-9 lbs. My husband is 6’3. Eating healthy and exercise during pregnancy is important and makes losing postpartum weight easier.

@MamaBear Congrats to you, however you do not represent the majority nor can you speak for others. Every woman experiences pregnancy differently, and whilst I agree with maintaining a healthy diet and exercise program during pregnancy I don’t think anyone can speak for every pregnant woman in the world. How about you celebrate your pregnancies and allow others to celebrate theirs. As long as both mother and child are healthy then thats all that matters, lets leave the weight shaming behind and support each other as mothers.

Im sorry but you are wrong. Not everyone reacts the same to being pregnant. My sister ate like a pig and hardly gained an ounce while I was on a gestational diabetes diet with exercise and yoga and gained 60lbs my baby was 7.5 pounds. So good for you but not everyone is you.

She is HUGE. I am worried about pre-eclampsia. Hopefully she has a good doctor. Gonna be ugly to lose all that weight, made worse of she is very ill. I wish her the best.
