I remember visiting this website once...
It was called ‘Jurassic World’ TV Spot: When Raptors Attack
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
reintroduces us to the dream of John Hammond. Expanding on Hammond’s dream of Jurassic Park
the decade-old Jurassic World combats growing public disinterest in actual living dinosaurs by cooking up an all-new one: the Indominus Rex. When the horrifyingly intelligent death machine escapes and runs amok, complications ensue.
The movie’s first trailer aimed squarely at longtime fans’ perpetual nostalgia and affection for Steven Spielberg’s 1993 original
, while subsequent previews and various TV trailers have filled out the premise and plot while keeping the main human characters – Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) and our resident kid in danger, Ty Simpkins.
We now have a new TV spot which packages much of the same material from previous spots while providing a new jump scare at the end. Check it out above.
This spot does what all good TV spots are supposed to do: provide a tight, 30-second overview of one of the summer’s most anticipated blockbuster releases. We’ve seen essentially all of these elements before: Pratt’s
line, the dinosaur-proof observation-bubble vehicle, the dimorphodons swooping over tourists and taking off with one of them, and that nice, long look at the bowel-liquefying Indominus Rex.
Our one piece of new footage occurs at the very end of the spot, when a velociraptor bursts through the window of Bryce Dallas Howard’s vehicle. The shot may be the kind of jump scare which the largely ignored
sequels relied upon at times, but it’s a powerful moment within the context of the story, and falls in line with the darker, perilous adventure story teased in
Of course, all the action, eye-popping visuals and rampaging dinosaurs still cloud the issue of how well director Colin Trevorrow and co-writer Derek Connolly (
) have incorporated the relatable human stories the two filmmakers are known for into the overall narrative. Our hopes remain high, but Spielberg’s original set such a high bar that fans are probably better off tamping down some of their expectations.
opens in U.S. theaters on June 12th, 2015.

I notice some sort of collar around the Raptor neck (or head).
I’m thinking the T-Rex will be the hero like in the first film (same T-Rex too). They’ve completely revealed the I-Rex now but haven’t shown anything of the T-Rex.
It’s one of Owen’s raptors. The thing around its neck is the cameras that were put on them wen the were let loose to look for the I-Rex. By the lookds of it, its the leader of the raptor pack, Blue.
Did they rename the I-Rex? I’m pretty sure they were referring to it as Diablo Rex earlier on…
Looks like alot of T-Wrecks lying around! Anyways, I will definitely give this a watch.
