What are your favourite moments from the films that were not in the books?

my favourite part is when Arwen is chasing with the nazgul. it is amazing

Near the end of the first one, where Merry and Pippin deliberately call the orcs' attention to themselves in order to draw them away from Frodo. I generally don't like scenes in films where they add atau alter the books, but a few in LOTR work.
