Well, for the 80 percent, here is some background information:The Austrian musical "Elisabeth" is one of the most successful German language Muzikal of all time. It tells the story of the historical Empress Elisabeth of Bavaria, who was married to the Emperor Franz Josef of Austria at 16.She was legendary for her beauty and her free spirit, rejecting the restrictions of court life. However, her life was very tragic. She faced a critical mother-in-law, and the deaths...

"Pippin" is a musical composed sejak Stephen Schwartz ("Wicked") and directed/choreographed sejak stage and dance legend Bob Fosse. It is one of the longest running Muzikal known and has a revival that's currently already starting to run. The plot takes place in the middle ages where Pippin, the son of King Charlemagne, feels unsatisfied with his life and tries different lifestyles in order to seek his purpose. And without giving away anything that happens, and that's the tunjuk in a nutshell. Although Pippin and Charlemagne were both famous figures in history, this tunjuk is about as historically reliable...

Years before the announcement of the film, I was away in my giant Les Miserables phase, and enjoying every bit of the fandom from Penulisan comics about the characters (involving voodoo dolls) to wasting my time on forum boards Membaca potential cast members for the film. After watching the King's Speech and hearing the announcement of Tom Hooper's direction, I was thrilled that this long-awaited baby would be delivered sejak what seemed to be a good midwife. After months of anticipation, I saw the movie Krismas Night
I know I am going to be speared for this, but I adored the film adaptation. I...

Hi guys, I had long to see this musical, which is base on Puccini's tragic opera 'Madame Butterfly'. So here are my reasons on why I Cinta to see the famous musical!

The Songs

I knew some of the songs like 'Why God Why?' and 'Bui Doi', just to name a few. That I could not get them out of my head! My favourite song is 'Sun & Moon' because it's such a sweet song that anda want to sing it with your Cinta ones!
The other song that I Cinta is 'I Still Believe' which is a very sad song that I nearly cried while listening to it.

The Story

As mentioned, the story is base on Madame rama-rama, taman rama-rama and the only difference is that the settings is change from Imperial Jepun to Vietnam, in the midst of the Vietnam War in the 1970's.

Remembering Her, Just Her!

So, if anda Cinta Muzikal and feel eager to watch this tragic musical like myself. Go ahead and watch it!
 They're called Bui Doi!

Kim and Chris
Hi guys, I managed to watch the 25th Anniversary of Miss Saigon and I was really blown away sejak not only the show, but the actors playing the main characters. So are anda ready time travel back to the Vietnam War?

The Story

As many of anda don't know, the story is base on Puccini's tragic opera, 'Madama Butterfly'. Which change the location and time period from Jepun to Vietnam in the midst of the Vietnam War, the only difference is that Kim is a bar girl whereas rama-rama, taman rama-rama is just an ordinary 15 tahun old Japanese girl.
Secondly, Butterfly's uncle (The Bonze) and her one-time fiance (Prince Yamadori)...

"Jekyll and Hyde" the musical, like its protagonist, can switch between being bad and being good. Also like the doomed scientist, although it works to ignore that its bad, often the bad wins over the good.
The "Musical Thriller" is based on the 19th century novel sejak Robert Louis Stevenson. Although the novels actual plot tends to be forgotten, what has made the story so famous is its main premise: a doctor named Henry Jekyll experiments with himself in an attempt to separate the bad side of him from the good. What results is the birth of his uncontrolled perpecahan, berpecah personality, the sinister and murderous...

So after a hari where I was told to go to college to get a high-paying job and make my passion for Penulisan a hobby, I listened to the Original Broadway Cast of "Little Women." "Better" captures Jo's character better than all the adaptions I've seen "Home Alone" gives Marrmee's character the development she has been so long denied. "Could You?" Makes Aunt March the manipulative witch she is. "I'd Be Delighted" gives Meg's character a bit of nuance. "Take a Chance on Me" will please any Jo and Laurie shipper. "Small Umbrella in the Rain" sells Jo March MARRYING better than any other adaption!...

"Peter Pan" was my first Broadway musical, and is one of my kegemaran Muzikal besides "The Phantom of the Opera," "Annie," and "Oliver!" When I was six my family and I went to BlockBuster and got the VHS tape of "Peter Pan" my mom had asked me "Do anda know a woman named Mary Martin played Peter Pan?" I had seen the Disney version, so a woman playing Peter was special. I liked Peter because he didn't grow up, and he could fly. I watched the Mary Martin version with my family. My Brother, Sister, Mom, Dad, and me. I LOVED it lebih than the Disney version. Though we lived out in rural New Mexico...

Let’s face the truth.
Religion is a touchy subject.
So touchy, that dare sort of medium discusses atau uses it, there will be hate letters and hate mail streaming through the creators mailboxes and computers. Even Godspell as harmless as it seemed was criticized for portraying Jesus as a clown.
So what happens when Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the writers of a notoriously offensive, but surprisingly thoughtful and extremely well-written cartoon series make a musical discussing religion, using The Church of Latter hari Saints as its focus?

Binarism, a word which here means has to be a man atau woman. For Peter Pan, this means The coloring looks like a Barbie doll & the baju is WAY too low cut, the V emphasizes Alison Willams' breasts, particularly when she's in motion, the ikan netting gives it a hint of sexuality. For Tiger Lily, it's even worse! I'm nonbinary, and I don't dress in party streamers, atau like a stripper! Being that Alanna Saunders is Cherokee, this is intersectional racism, atau racism and sexism combined! The choreography for "True Blood Brothers" emphasizes the cut in the stripper outfit that goes up to her...

For every Musical Fanatic, there will always be that one show. This tunjuk proved to them that Muzikal were far lebih than anything they have ever known atau seen. This tunjuk was the white rabbit that lead them into a phantasmagorical land of diva ballads, chorus numbers, and red curtains. For me, personally, this tunjuk was Phantom of the Opera. I had first learned about Phantom when I was 11 and at the time, there were no nearby touring productions. But thanks to the wonders of YouTube, I knew a film of the musical existed and rented it as soon as I could. This film became the center my pre-teen...

People of the internet, welcome to Dickensworld!
Dickensworld is a magical, fascinating place. anda will find yourself in England, especially in London, from the period of 1820-1865. Be sure to take note that all the poor people are poor because they have visible rags, dirt all over their face, are super skinny, and have big, anjing, anak anjing dog eyes, cementing every Conservative’s idea of what a poor person looks like. This social commentary will be almost everywhere. It’s filled with interesting characters weather they are pure, sweet angels, eccentrics, atau Lucifer incarnate. Oh, and keep an eye...

When I first viewed Pippin with Ben Vereen in the DVD of the 1982 Toronto production, I had one giant problem with it that was keeping from absolutely loving this musical; it was dated. Weather it was the hair, the music, atau the keseluruhan staging, the cobwebs somehow kept me from completely appreciating this wonderful musical.
And then came this revival, and it did just that. I can describe it in just 2 words: circus spectacle. It is easy to have a big Broadway musical that is spectacular in the fact that the spectacle in which millions of dollars are spent on it to make it look huge, but here,...

In 1975, a stage musical based on a stage play, Chicago, premiered. It enjoyed a modest amount of success and years later, when the revival came up, it became the 6th longest running musical on Broadway. In 2002, a film adaption of the musical was released, directed sejak Rob Marshall. It was this version that got the much-desired praise. It won several Oscars, including Best Picture. However many people who viewed the film- critics and ordinary people-saw the film as insanely overrated. So is Chicago all that jazz? atau is it one crummy dummy hubby of mine? Let's review what the film accomplishes...

I have mixed feelings about the NBC Live Musicals. (Please take note, I have not seen its Sound of Music).
On one hand, they are getting Muzikal back into mainstream culture, sparkling an interest in Muzikal into the seterusnya generation, and giving families something fun to watch on Televisyen together.
But on the other hand, from what I have heard about from the Sound of Muzik live…They can be pretty overblown copies that add “cool” millennial crap.
Peter Pan Live, though I was extremely skeptical at first about it, is surprisingly better than I thought. It has its problems, oh yes it...

19.My Friends (Sweeny Todd). Oh god, this song gives me chills! I never saw the play, but after hearing this on the CD I couldn't stop listening to it! Mussical theatre was actually an accident. there was a play going on in new york in 1866 called 'The Black Crook'. The producers thought it needed lebih pazzas.
Meanwhile, a ballet was going on down the street. it was opening night but before it opened the theatre was burned down.
In order to save both shows, they mixed both productions together. yes, the audience was surpised, but they loved it. New york came out with some new productions and musical theatre was born!
Yes, everything in this artikel is ture. i know, i was suprised too.

This past season on Broadway is sadly over, but it is not one to be forgotten. It has entered a new wave of hit musicals, bringing new ideas to the stage with every performance. From the amazing new rock opera, Spring Awakening, to revivals of much-loved shows such as Stephen Sondheim's Company, this season has had so much to offer, with six new Muzikal at the Tony awards, five revivals, and many plays, including the fantastic, three part Coast of Utopia.

The Muzikal were my personal focal point this season. The first one I'd like to bring up is Company sejak Stephen Sondheim. It ended up winning...

THIS IS VERY URGENT AND NOT A JOKE! ALSO DON'T GOOF OFF!!!!

I really mean it! What would anda be able to do if SOPA/TPP censors the internet? What would anda be able to do if Penulisan fanfics and drawing fanarts become illegal? What would anda do if it's illegal to do a cover of your kegemaran song on YouTube? What would anda do if downloading things from the internet (music, movies, TV episodes, etc) became illegal?
