Swan's 7 Most Romantic Moments of Season 3 

Emma Swan\'s had a busy year, traveling through time and worlds to save her son, Henry. She\'s been busy in the romance department too, between her long-lost first love, Neal, the he-seemed-so-perfect-until-he-turned-into-a-flying-monkey, Walsh, and the pirate who just might have a heart of gold, Hook. Here are our picks for her most romantic moments of season three.

After learning that Hook risked his life to save her father, Emma begins to see the pirate in a new light. Hook implies that Swan can show her gratitude with a kiss, but she insists he couldn\'t handle a kiss from her.

In order to rescue Neal, Emma has to admit her true feelings: not only does she still love him, she\'s so terrified of losing him again that she hoped he wasn\'t still alive. 

Hook tells Emma she will have to choose between Neal and him. When Emma says it\'s not a contest, he assures her that it is — but one he won\'t need trickery to win.

"When I win your heart...it will be because you want me."

Without her memories, Emma has a new life in New York with Walsh, a down-to-earth furniture shop owner who gets along great with her son. But when Hook helps Emma get her memories back, she knows she has to follow her heart back to Storybrooke. Emma tries to let Walsh down gently, but his darker side soon reveals itself. Sigh. Why are the good ones always flying monkeys?

Emma Tells Hook That Walsh Broke Her Heart

When Hook says Emma should be grateful he saved her from a loveless marriage, Emma reveals that she was in love with Walsh and was heartbroken by his betrayal. Believe it or not, Hook says that\'s a good thing.

 "If your heart can be broken, it means it still works."

Neal realizes he must sacrifice his own life in order to save Emma and Henry. He asks Emma to promise they will both be happy. Poor Emma. Losing your first love sure puts that whole flying monkey thing into perspective.

After Zelena tries to drown Hook, Swan pulls him out of the water. When she touches his lips to bring him back to life, she loses all her magic because of the curse Zelena put on her. 

In the season finale, Emma and Hook are pulled into Zelena\'s time portal and find themselves in the Enchanted Forest of the past. But in their quest to discover a way back, they must be careful not to change

 or risk altering the lives of their friends and family. With their lives on the line, will Swan and Hook\'s relationship heat up?
