How do anda feel about people who make spots about themselves?

Fanpop forbids them, and i persoanlly think they are pointless. i mean, what is different about a personal spot that your own profil can't offer? if anda want fans, ask people to peminat your profile. if anda want to organize your kegemaran content, there is a feature on almost everything that allows anda to save it to your profile, sejak the content type. if anda want to attract attention, open a forum atau hantar content! Fanpop forbids them because Fanpop itself has a massive fanbase, and if everyone had their own fanclub, it would overrun the site, causing it to slow down atau crash, which would be a bad thing all around!

I have a spot for myself. I think of it as just a spot anda sertai if you're a good friend of that person.

I don't mind people who have their own spots. It makes it easier to find them.

I feel like asking "Who are anda and why do anda have a spot about yourself?" Not a big problem really (as long as the guy does not post too much personal information; anda got to look out for them as fellow Fanpoppers).

Yeah, there's nothing WRONG with it apart from the fact that this isn't the intended purpose of Fanpop. Read the link atau even the link if anda don't believe me.

I'm sorry, but Fanpop is for joining Fanclubs where people share a common interest in (hence "What are anda a peminat of"), not social networking place where anda try to meet people and compete for the number of peminat-peminat in YOUR spot atau post stuff about day. Keep that to other places like MySpace atau Facebook atau whatever.
The reason I go on here is because this is a different place, peminat-peminat get to discuss and contribute things that they find on the internet about something they enjoy. But obviously humans have a selfish nature and likes to make everything about ourselves.

I don't see the point. If anyone wanna be a peminat of a person, they could just peminat them.
