If anda were to look at it in a soley political way, Isreal is our only real ally in the region. The Arab countries are becoming increasingly influeneced sejak the minority of radical Islam. Folks, these people don't just want to destroy Israel, they would also like to see the US wiped off the map. This is not the place to elaborate on this particular point, but do anda know where Islam got their propaganda methods they are using to teach hatred towards the Jews. It came from the Nazi's. That is a historical fact. I know many of anda do not consider yourself Christian atau Jewish, but there is one command from the Old Testament that is lebih relevant than ever. It tells us to pray for peace for Jerusalem. I completey support Israel. They are not perfect. They do have a right to exist in peace.

ShiningsTar542, I hope we can agree to disagree. I believe that "alishmouha" history is a little off. Israel occupied that area for hundreds of years. About 73 AD the Romans kicked them out of their own country and threatened death if they returned. In the 7th century the Muslims took the area away from the Romans. In the 1940s before Isreal became a nation, the land was part of the British Empire. The British allowed the Jewish nation. If anda had a largest enough map, that anda were able to walk from one Arab nation to the next. anda would still be able to cover Israel with your thumb. So how rational is it to begrudge the small nation of Israel to exist. I'm not anti Arab atau Islam, but I do not think there is a rational argument against Israel.

Alismouha, I want to admit that my historical answer was in fact flawed. That being said, I still support Israel and it's rights to have defendable borders. I understand why we disagree and hope we can agree to disagree.
