What's the best way to run a mile?

I'm being tested tomorrow. Every time we have a practice mile, I always think I'll do good and I do bad. My strategies aren't the best I guess...
I gotta run 4 laps under 9 minit to pass.

Do anda have any helpful tips atau strategies anda would like to share? Please? *puppy eyes*

Try taking longer strides when running. Tell yourself that fatigue is an illusion. If you're like me and your legs hurt after running for a while, tell yourself pain is an illusion. Breathe, it makes a big difference. If possible, put on upbeat music.
