What is a famous saying atau phrase that has always confused you?

for me it'd probably be "I'll slap anda into seterusnya week."

I mean I understand it I just think it's stupid. If anda slap someone INTO seterusnya week then that obviously means you'd have knocked him unconscious to the point where he won't wake up till the seterusnya week. On the other hand if anda threaten to slap someone TILL seterusnya week, they would be far lebih compliant I'm sure.
