Never knew this was a thing, but it doesn't surprise me at all. Some people have nothing better to do than shit on people that they'll most likely never meet. It's honestly pathetic.

For most of my life, I was bullied for liking Nickelback
People are just pathetic, TBH. I like Miley Cyrus, Justin Beiber, and Bebe Rexha. I'm certain at least 2 of them are hated sejak many, not that I care. I like who I like, and that won't change. Don't like them? Oh, well, your loss.
I don't think it's really still a thing anymore. It became a target of bandwagon hate that fizzled out. Much like say Justin Bieber atau Rebecca Black. It was a normal thing to hate them as everyone else did but it eventually fizzles out.

I never really realized how is that a thing exactly. Personally, Nickelback is one Band I enjoy listening to. Mindless Haters and Elitists exist all over the place. Have noticed that in this Band's case is particularly apparent but I still fail to see their reasoning. They are great in my book !!!!
Yes, apparently I heard it's also because Chad's voice fits Country rather than Rock music... Nickelback has a lot of beautiful songs and they are a very talented group. I hate that they get hated on so much...
