Honestly, yes. I would rather be chubby than anorexic because I could at least still be healthy. Saying I have a little more fat than the average person isn't much of an insult, but saying I have a disease is to me.

people may think it's a joke to say that but when i weigh what i weigh at my height... i would rather be called bid daddy than twig.

Well I am fat, so yeaaa. But I still feel that being called anorexic even if I weren't fat. Like I said in another poll. Anorexia is like a disorder. So if someone told me that I would be a little upset about it.

I've been called both, but I've always thought I was fat, so..

I've never been called fat so I wouldn't know how that feels. I have had people think I had an eating disorder because I was skinny and never seemed to gain any weight and it's annoying that people think a person is skinnier than the average person so he/she MUST be anorexic, especially since I actually eat more than many average weight people I know.

Most people don't quite know what anorexia really is.. but being called what is so offensive for me! l was fat as a kid and at the time l was 13 l lost a lot of weight because l was eating less, became vegetarian and my body grew! And now l really try to keep in shape by working out so if anyone would call me fat again l would be really upset..

Because being called anorexic means skinny to some people even though it really isn't the true definition.

Anorexic is a health issue, fat is just an insult.
