From what I heard Shadows original Rekaan was scrapped far into the dev process of SA2, Shadows original Rekaan looking much lebih like sonic except having a darker coloration and a scar, if anda take that into context anda could see how people would mix them up if thats how shaodw still looked, So they most likely had all the lines recorded before changing his design

In Su (Sonic Unleashed)Play the Adept atau whatever it's called. hari time stage and if anda look at Sonic's Shadow while running it looks exactly like Shadow. And at night Shadow looks like Sonic. people in SA2B didn't see Shadow in the daytime they saw him at night, it wasn't until they broadcast the end of the world thing that people noticed the difference between Shadow and Sonic. Now for the Amy thin,Amy's just stupid she thought both Shadow and Silver was Sonic. But I think she's nearsighted that would explain why she thought they were both Sonic
At night anda can't really see anything and could mistake Shadow for Sonic but in the day, they would have to be complete RETARDS because anda can clearly see the dif. personality, color, actions, and behavior!
Becuase their extra slow Its clear that first of all: Sonic has green eyes and Shadow has red eyes,Sonic is fucking blue,and Shadow has red stripes,and is black and has a fluffy white spot in the middle of him. sega is mental sometimes
In Sonic X, in Shadow's first appearence, he was a robber, correct? Well, it was night time, darker than morning, so they immediantly thought it was Sonic. Also, he was the only talking hedgehog in the area where he lives (besides Amy, but she isn't as popular there.) But the thing is, Sonic doesn't have freaking chest fluff!

IDK.Sonic controls the present.Shadow controls the past and is the Ultimate Life Form.He was created in the angkasa Colony Ark where 'the incident' happened.Sonic wasn't created.Sonic and Shadow have different bodies.Not just the color of the bulu and eyes.The quills give away most of the difference,I think.
Theres a real long senarai but they SHOULD know that we don't have the same bulu color, same quills, and Shadow can teleport and hes maybe a little faster than me. Its either because we're both hedgehogs, the people are color blind, atau Amy just runs around town screaming: "THERES SONIC!" and points at either one of us.

They’re the same size, in Sonic X him and sonic we’re both voiced sejak the same voice actor and they both have the same abilities except Shadow has chaos powers like chaos spears, chaos control and chaos blast and he has the same speed like Sonic
They both have the power of super speed, they’re the same height, have the same weight, they’re both hedgehogs and in Sonic X and the games during 2005-2010, they were both voiced sejak Jason Griffith.
