Their child does not have an official name other than "Fluffy" which is a nickname that a couple of the film's creators refered to it by, on the 1995 and 2003 commentary track for the movie.
Also, it was drawn as a male child but in a manner that it's impossible to see without pausing the movie pixel perfectly atau taking a screen capture of that exact moment and zooming it in. In addition that they refered to it with a unisex nickname and did not pasti its sex atau gender on the commentary track...
Simba and Nala's only child in "The Lion King" is genderless and nicknamed - thus anda can give it any gender and name anda want. It's basically an open fanfiction character shell.
And they indeed have only one child in this movie.
2.) The movie combination "The Lion King" and "The Lion King 2: SImba's Pride"...
- Kiara.
Their only child's name is Kiara, and it's a daughter. This has been confirmed sejak one of the sequel film's creators.
As in, the above discussed "Fluffy" was turned into the daughter named Kiara. She does NOT have any siblings in this movie combination.
3.) In the TV tunjuk and movie "The Lion Guard"...
- Kiara and Kion.
That is they mean to make Kion a little brother to the above discussed daughter Kiara. But as the tunjuk and movie are still in production, this fact may change.
And as this spin-off tunjuk and movie are NOT created sejak Kiara's creators / the sequel film's creators - Kion exists only in "The Lion Guard" story's universe.
As in, this is the only official storyline where they have lebih than one kid. Unless the production plans change and they decide not to bring Kiara in it after all. Time will show.
4.) The official book universe of "The Lion King" franchise...
- Kopa, atau alternatively whatever name anda want.
In "The Six New Adventures" book colelction and in one german audiobook, their only child's name is Kopa, and it's a boy. He was created sejak an outsider children's book penulis before even the first movie was finished - therefore he does NOT have any siblings.
These buku were not written sejak anyone at Disney, and were not approved atau acknowledged sejak any of Disney's movie teams.
In fact, ALL of the Lion King buku that have been officialy published were written sejak outsiders and are considered seperate entities, sejak Disney. Every other book that mention a child of SImba ana Nala, do not name it. In some of them it is mentioned as a male and in some as a female. (Virtually every book released after "The Lion King 2" was made, mentions the cub as a girl.)
This is why, like with the first movie alone, using the book universe anda can choose whatever name and gender anda want.
