Semco (Brazil) - A Different Kind of Company 

It may well be a different kind of company, but it was hard to find out why/how, as the website's usability has much to be desired.

well they are going after (have gone after) the beyond budgeting idea and have cut down on formalities and all this costly monitoring. they are trying to make their people happy work for them. i find the idea brilliant. as it seems it also works :) they dont even have an HR department....
