Carol wants the family to bond so she thinks the Port Washington games is the best way to do it. The Lamberts, who have won three years in a row, do not want the Fosters on their team simply because they are not athletic enough.
So that their marriage is declared legal, Frank and Carol agree to have a ceremony at their house on the hari of Brendan's birthday party. But then the clown that Frank hired to entertain cancels, forcing Frank to hastily play the role.
The Fosters and Lamberts go camping in the woods. The attempt at family bonding doesn't go so well at first, but eventually everyone gains an appreciation for each other.
