Pain Granite. District 7. Pain is tough on the outside, and fights well and never stops trying to fight. But on the inside she just wants to be loved. Pain has shocking bright blue eyes, long black hair, thick lips, and a pale complexion. She's short, and slender, and has tiny feet. She works well with her fist, but can't kill a thing.

Pain walked up the stairs and to her room. She jumped in her bed and sighed. When were these stupid games be over, and when would they even begin. A tear rolled down her cheek, but she quickly dismissed it.

Danny Riot. District 5. Danny is a family-person. He has six younger sibilings, who he loves greatly, and he is detirmined to win for them. He's never been in a fight and he hasn't been touched, at all since he was five. Never brushed in the shoulder, not a poke, nothing. Danny is tall and muscular with short brown hair and warm brown eyes. His lowpoint is caring too much and his highpoint is his muscular figure.
Danny thought about his family in silence. Delia (his escort) watched him staring at his food.
"Danny, maybe you should go lie down."
"But-"
"No buts, go lay down, you need the rest." Danny stormed upstairs.

Nick Monroe- District 6-Nick has always known how to fight. He had been taught by his father since he was young. He got into boxing a few years back as well.. However talented at fighting he is, he's not big in killing. He's too nice to kill someone. Nick has shaggy dark brown/ almost black hair and dark blue / green eyes and tan. He's tall and a bit muscular.


Caroline Waylan- District 5- She keeps to herself but she doesn't want to back down from a challenge; even one she knows she can't win. She doesn't know how to fight hand to hand but she knew a little about making stuff. She knows plants and herbs well and is pretty fast. Her lowpoint is that she'll throw herself into any situation if its a challenge even if she can't win or do it. She'll push through and go down trying. Caroline has cork-screw curl-ish brown hair and blue eyes. She's slender and graceful. She always wears a base-ball cap though.

Delphi Keene - District 9 - Lives with her 3 younger brothers and mother and father. Is good at identifying plants and is extremely athletic, she can always beat the boys at running, wrestling, boxing, you name it. She has only touched one weapon in her life, and that is a sickle, which she uses to cut grain in the fields.
Her features are long curly auburn hair, olive skin, midnight blue eyes. Tall and skinny, not very muscular.

Pleione Lockhearst - District 2 - Her father is rich for discovering a huge diamond while coal mining. She is very aggressive and gets involved with everything, no matter the consequence. She is an only child and has been working on the skill of throwing knives. She loves sports except for when she loses.
Her features are shoulder-length choppy blonde hair and sea green eyes. She is pale, short, and muscular

Laurel Ballantynn - District 1 - Very down to earth and loves nature. She doesn't mind killing a few people to be rich and famous though. She practices with a bow and arrows and is one of the best in her Hunger Games training class though. She has always wanted to get into the Hunger Games since she was a little girl.
Her features are straight black hair, brown eyes. Average height and is tan. Stronger than most of the boys at her school.

Sorry I only did girls my friends and I also made a Hunger Games fanfic and these 3 girls represented us in the book.

(THE NEXT DAY)
When Pain woke up in her captiol bed she screamed into her pillow. All she wanted was to go back home, to her run down cottage and hug her mom. She sat up on her arms and looked at the room. It was large and high tech. Pain stood up, wiggling her toes in the carpet. She took a shower and put on fresh clothes. She went out into the dining room. Lola (her trainer) was sitting down, sipping coffee.
"How'd you sleep"
"Horribly"
"Pain, don't live up to your name." Pain grabbed a piece of toast and sat down.


Danny walked straight to the dining room. He was in his pajamas, no shoes or shirt. He grabbed Orange Juice and sat on the opposite side of the table from the pretty girl.

When Nick woke up It took him a second to register the fact he wasn't home. Sighing, he got up and hopped in the shower and got dressed and headed down to breakfast.

Caroline woke up and got dressed and headed down to breakfast. She had a tank top and a skirt on with flats. She look pretty as always. She grabbed an apple and sat down for breakfast.

Being the type of person he was, Danny tried talking to Pain.
"So where are you from?" Pain glared at Danny with a hatred glowing in her eyes. Danny held his hands up. Pain wanted the boy to shut up and stop trying to talk to her. "Well, where are you from?" Pain clentched her fists "Listen kid I don't-" Pain stopped talking when another boy came downstairs, she turned to the corner instead.

Nick walks in casually, grabbing an apple tossing it and spinning it in his hands and takes a seat by Pain.

Pain turned her eye sideways and glanced at the boy next to her. She tightened her jaw and her fist.

He takes a bit of her apple casually, not noticing Pain tense up. Or at least, he didn't let it show.

Pain took this boy by the front of his shirt. She put her face 2 inches away from his.
"Listen punk, I'm not gonna play this game, sit somewhere else." The boy was so much bigger then Pain but she wasn't intimidated in the least.

Danny watched the scene casually, but he was impressed, she was so little compared to him.

Nick only smiles and he says simply, "To bad we're all stuck in this game. You're just gonna have to deal with it.. Sorry."

Pain released his shirt and threw her toast on the table. She got up and walked to her room. Danny looked at Nick "Wow, that girl has some attitude."

Nick watched her go and sat back down. He looked at Danny and nodded, " You got that right. "

Caroline got up to grab some water and came and sat down by Danny.

"I wonder what her problem was. She was cute though." Danny nodded to Caroline.
"Hi, I'm Danny, by the way." he stuck out one hand to Nick and one to Caroline.

"Hi. I'm Caroline" She smiles and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you"

Nick nods." We'll probably won't find out any time soon. Well, anyway, I'm Nick. " He shakes Danny's hand.

"I'm sorry if my nakedness bothers you." Danny pushed out his chest and gave a grin. Danny didn't realize this, but he hadn't been touched in 10 years (he's 15) he stared at his hand. Danny looked at the staircase Pain walked up, "I think she's cute."

"Well, good luck with that Danny.." Nick said, leaning back in his chair.

Danny laughed lightly.

Pain crept down the stairs and listened to their conversation. She walked down the stairs loudly and into the dining room. She grabbed two cups of water. She poured one on Danny and one on Nick.
"Oops. Oh and, I'm not cute." Pain smirked and went upstairs and back to her bed. She fell asleep.

He starts to laugh but stops and hears Pain and he looks at her as she walks in. As a good mannered gentleman, Nick stands up politely. He sidesteps when he sees the water.

Pain sat up in bed when she realized she never got nick with water. She ran back downstairs.
"You're a jerk. I wish you the worst."

"Thanks. Nice to meet you too.." Nick says causally. He can't help but smile.

"Stop smiling at me."

"Why? Is something wrong with smiling?" He asks in a polite voice

"There's nothing wrong with smiling, don't smile at me. I don't want to see your smile. And I don't want you to have any happiness from me."

"Sorry.. but it's a little to late to not smile. See, you come to dump a cup of water on me, then rush upstairs then take more effort just to come back down here to wish me the worst.."

"You think that you're so superior to me, just because you're from district 5. Well I'll tell you something, I don't find you amusing, I find you jerky. Fight me."

" I don't think I'm superior, at all. I'm not going to fight you. Jeez, I'm not that much of a jerk to fight you."

Pain looked Nick in the eyes. He had really pretty eyes. Pain dismissed that thought, she pushed Nick. "You think you're better than me."

Danny just watched. It was intense

He met her eyes. He looked at her. He took a single step back from her push. He runs his hands through his hair and looks at the ceiling, grumbling. He looked back down at her, talking with hand motions, a habit of his, " Look, I don't think I'm better than you. " He tries to get her to understand.

Pain looked at the boy. She stepped on a chair. She punched Nick in the jaw. "Yeah, you do."

He ducked and grabbed her wrist. He looked at her pleadingly. " I don't want to fight you. I promise, I don't think I'm better. "

Pain glared at him. She wound her foot back ready to kick him.

He let go of her wrist and took a step back and put his hands up. "Please. What will it take for you to understand I don't think that? "

Pain spit on Nick,

He dodges it. " Please. What did I ever do? "

Danny had just about enough. he came behind Pain and took her in his arms. She kicked and scratched and clawed. "Nick....help."

He comes to Danny's help, "Thanks. " Nick says to Danny as he helps get Pain under control.

Pain struggled in his arms. Pain felt Nick's hands around her and she lost it completely. She thrashed in every possible way and kicked and bit. But finally danny came to her room. He opened the door and layed her down. He headed for the door. "Nick, i'll give you so privacy to talk to her."

"Great. Thanks, Danny." He nods to him as Danny heads to the door.

"Leave me alone!" Pain buried her head under pillows.

"Alright, alright." He walks over to her door and leans against it.

Pain thought he was gone. She started crying.

He opens the door a crack until he hears her cry . He looks back at where she lay..

Pain felt horrible. She missed her home. She cried harder.

He hesitated at the door. He wanted to go make her feel better but she was ticked at him..

Pain turned on her side (opposite side of Nick) she sniffled and mumbled a few words. She ran her hand through her long hair. She really wanted to talk to somebody

He sighed quietly and he took a step toward her and the floor creaked underneath him. He stopped.
