fans, Michael Trevino is damn proud to be television’s first human-turned-werewolf-turned-hybrid-turned-werewolf-turned-human.

“I’ve pretty much covered all the bases,” Trevino tells TVLine with a laugh. “It’s been a wild ride.”

But like all good things, his time on the show must come to an end, specifically with the conclusion of Thursday’s season finale (The CW, 8/7c).

“It’s funny to think the finale is airing this week,” he says. “It’s been a crazy six years, not only looking back on Tyler’s journey from Season 1 to now, but all the deaths in his family and the changes in his love life. Our writers and executive producers did a fantastic job with what they could. The werewolf storyline is pretty specific, which is why most of my scenes were with either my girlfriend or Matt Donovan [

has been a huge part of my life, and it will continue to be. I’ll be forever grateful for it.”

Yeah kinda with him there on the sire-bond storyline getting really old really fast. This past season has really refreshed the character for me, so I’ll be sorry to see him go.

I’ll be sad to see him go, but he hasn’t had much to do for the past few seasons, so it’s probably time. Hopefully Trevino will be back on our screens soon.

oh god.. not another fav of mine leaving the show.. he will surely be missed!

Sad to see him leave but also looking forward to seeing him in movies or back on TV. All the best Michael.
