Caroline may be engaged to Alaric in the flash-forward, but it’s not all paradise for these two. While Stefan and Caroline may be on the outs in the future, there’s still hope for Steroline!

If you’re devastated about Stefan and Caroline not being together in the flash-forward, don’t count Steroline out just yet. Caroline is engaged to Alaric and having his babies, but Stefan and Caroline are far from over. Check out this epic

“In an upcoming flash-forward, we’ll see that perhaps everything isn’t perfect between the couple, so there might be hope for Steroline yet,”

reports. It’s time to rejoice, Steroline fans!

On the Nov. 19 episode, Stefan and Caroline didn’t have any interaction, but Caroline did find out about Valerie and Stefan’s baby. Alaric and Caroline had their first ultrasound, and we saw Damon and Alaric preparing to go save Caroline in the flash-forward. 

Stefan and Caroline haven’t really had a chance to fully explore their relationship in season seven. So for them to be cut off and not be together when the show flashes forward is a big blow to Steroline fans. Executive producer Caroline Dries teased that Valerie and Stefan’s past would cause a problem for Stefan and Caroline’s relationship. But once they get passed the problem, they’ll be stronger than ever, right?

comes to an end, Klaus and Caroline will get their happy ending. It’s
