I would have loved to see more scenes with Ursula as Vanessa :3 Like how Prince Eric got her to the palace, her meeting Carlotta and Sir Grimsby. There are a Walt Disney Sketch of Vanessa, found on the Platinum Edition DVD, where she's walking around, holding her dress up and looking around. You can see the photo here: link

Also, we go from the morning where Scuttle tells Ariel about the Prince getting married, Ariel hurries downstairs, hear the news and run off in tears. Then bam, it's in the afternoon. I'd like to see what happend between that cut!

I don't have anything against the idea, although I thought the pacing of the movie was great as it is, so I'm not sure if it would have been necessary.

^^ PrueFever is right about how much of a "jump" there is between the morning of the wedding and the evening of the wedding. There is a considerable time lapse. But having more of Vanessa would mean watching and listening to Eric in that monotone voice he has when he is under Ursula's spell. Since, effectively, Eric was now Ursula/Vanessa's "captive" I'd feel more sad about that...since Ariel could not intervene.

I'd love to see more, although what we got was kind of perfect as it was. One thing I might have done is just to take the scenes we already have and add a little more to them.

I really enjoy her presence. She's cool, calm, and collected.
