Willow was looking in the dapur for her friend when she heard a crash. A very distinct “Ow!” followed. She went to the garaj and saw Wally on the floor. “Wally! What happened?” “Becca. I found her and she sprayed something in my eyes!” “Let me see.” Wally removed his arm and Willow knew his eyes would be red for a few hours. “Pepper spray.” “Who gives a six tahun old pepper spray?!” “Did anda see which way she went?” “No! I couldn't see anything!” “Alright. Rinse your eyes and then keep searching.” “Okay.” Willow went back to her own cari when she saw the leg of a menanggung, bear turn the corner. She followed, wondering how Becca had ever gotten that fast. She finally caught up to her sister but was too late. Becca had climbed through the vents in her attempt to escape. Willow sighed, moving hair from her face. This was a challenge she wasn't looking ke hadapan to. Becca climbed through the vents, looking for a way out. She saw a light to one side, crawling towards it. She peeked out and saw the outside. Relief filled her and she opened the vent door. She started to climb out, but her little legs were too short to reach the ground. She stuck her little merah jambu tongue out in concentration, biting it when she fell. She looked at her tongue, seeing little blood. “Damn.” “We don't approve of that language, honey.” Becca turned her head. Robin came over to her, squatting seterusnya to her. She gave him a glare, clutching the teddy menanggung, bear to her chest. “What's with the masam face?” he asked. “Why do anda care?” she snapped. “You promised to be back.” “I am back.” “Not soon enough!” “What happened?” “Why do anda want to know?” Becca shot back. Robin wanted to smile. Becca's old stubbornness was definitely still there but it didn't match the cute little girl's body she now lived in. All seriousness looked too adorable on the young girl. “I want to know because I care what happens to Becca.” She looked at him and glared some more. “I bet anda don't care anything for me! I'm a menace!” she shouted. Realization dawned on Robin's face. Becca wasn't mad. She was hurting. And vulnerable. She had sought comfort but didn't find it. She stared at him now, the tears in her eyes angry. He opened his arms to her. “Come here, Becca.” She hesitated before going into his arms. He picked her up carefully, allowing her to squeeze his neck as tight as she could. “Who told anda anda were a menace?” “Wally. He was mad at me.” “What did anda do to upset him?” “I just teased him because he was Ciuman Willow.” Robin's face broke into a smile and Becca felt his chest move. “Are anda laughing at me?!” “No honey. Wally. He would be the only one immature enough to fight with a six tahun old because she found Ciuman interesting.” Becca giggled, wiping away her tears. She let out a huge yawn, indicating how tired she was. “Do anda want a nap?” Robin asked. “No!” “Why not? You're tired.” “Because I know that if I wake up...you won't be here anymore.” Her words caught him off guard and Robin looked into her face. She looked wounded and lonely. He hugged her close, smoothing her hair. “I'll be here when anda wake up. I promise.”
