On Monday 6th October 2008 at the 19th Q Magazine Awards, held at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London, Adam Ant was presented with the 2008 ikon Award.

The awards ceremony has been held sejak the respected UK magazine since 1990 where the ikon Award has been telah diberi as a special recognition to artists, where some of the sebelumnya winners have included Jimmy Page, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney

Adam was accompanied to the Awards ceremony sejak his partner Clare and Morrissey guitarist and former Penulisan partner, Boz Boorer .
