NBC Is So Close to Ordering a Full Season of Blindspot - Blindspot Community - TV.com 

NBC must be feeling really good about its latest tattoo of a naked lady covered in little naked lady tattoos. The network has ordered nine additional scripts for its new series 

Blindspot, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Given the series\' ratings—10.61 million viewers tuned in to watch the premiere, which earned a 3.1 rating in the 18-to-49 demographic—this should come as no surprise. When DVR numbers were factored in, the premiere\'s ratings rose to 15.2 million viewers and a 4.5 in the demo. So the additional script order was never a question of if, but merely a matter of when it would come.

However, as we remind you every year around this time, it\'s important to note that this is just an order for more scripts, not necessarily a pick-up for nine more episodes. But between you and me, there\'s no reason to think that order isn\'t also on its way. Blindspot stars Jaimie Alexander (Thor) as an amnesiac badass whose body is covered in mysterious tattoos linked to crimes and Sullivan Stapleton (Strike Back) as the FBI agent tasked with decoding them. The series was Monday night\'s most-watched drama and the highest-rated new series last week. However, critics reviews didn\'t match up with the impressive ratings.
