After another case, the BAU was finally back home. As Emily walked into the headquarters, she was thinking about her spur the moment plan on having drinks. "Anyone wanna go out for some drinks? I'm buying." she insisted. "I'm in." Alvez stated. "Rossi, anda game?" Alvez asked. "I'd Cinta to, but I have my poker tournament in a couple hours, and those DON'T wait." Rossi politely declined. Alvez nodded in a respectful reply. He saw Garcia walk out of her lair. "Garcia, anda up for some drinks?" he asked. "I'd Cinta to sertai anda and Emily, but I don't have time. I'm supposed to be meeting my boyfriend for dinner." Garcia answered.

"How are anda guys doing?" Emily asked. "We're doing great." Garcia answered. "Simmons, anda up for some drinks?" Alvez asked. "You know I'd sertai in on the fun, but my two oldest kids are having open house at their school, and I don't wanna be late." Simmons answered. Alvez nodded in a respectful reply again. "JJ, anda up for some drinks?" Alvez asked. "Can't. I've got some housework to do. Plus, I promised Henry I'd help him with his homework." JJ answered. "Reid, anda up for some drinks?" Emily asked. "I'd join, but I have a chess tournament to prepare for." Reid answered. "Good luck." Alvez replied with Reid nodding kindly afterwards.

"I know someone who would like to sertai in." Emily said. She got out her phone and called Derek. *Wow, I'm surprised he answered as quick as he did. He's usually slammed these days.* she thought. "Hello?" a mystery voice said. Emily felt her nerves jump as she heard a woman's voice on the phone. "Um, hi, I'm an old friend of Derek's, and I was wondering if he would like to sertai my colleague and I for some drinks." Emily tried to say. "I'M his wife, Savannah, and I know he'd Cinta to sertai you, but he has an ugly bout of strep throat, and as of right now, he's currently sleeping off a fever." the mystery voice replied as she confirmed her identity. "I've heard alot about you, and I hope he feels better." Emily said. "In fact, would tell him I called?" she requested. She ADORED her old friend.

"I sure will." Savannah answered, smiling through the phone. Emily felt relieved she knew who it was calling as the two hung up. "Well, it looks like it's just us..." Emily stated as she looked at Alvez. "I actually don't mind." Alvez replied. Emily smiled as she and Alvez walked out of the BAU together. The two went to Emily's kegemaran bar in Quantico. "I heard anda were at Interpol for afew years." Alvez said. "I was. It was something I couldn't pass up." Emily replied. "I heard anda were apart of the FBI fugitive task force. And, I also heard anda were in Iraq." she stated. "Yeah. Prior to joining the task force, I served as an army ranger." Alvez replied.

A waitress brought a basket of tortilla chips to the table. The two nodded a thank you. "I don't mean to pry, but, why didn't anda call Hotch and ask HIM to come join?" Alvez wondered. Emily took a deep breath. "As anda know, he's decided to be a full-time dad, and Jack IS in his teen years now." she struggled to say. "I can see why he decided to do that in a million lebih ways than one." Alvez replied. "Definitely." Emily agreed. Alvez took a sip of his margarita. "So, what made anda wanna come back?" Alvez asked. "I missed it here. I missed my old family and the closeness I had with them. I especially missed the Makanan that's comin' now." Emily berkata as she saw the waitress bringing their Makanan to the table.

"Thank you." Emily stated politely. Not much was berkata as they ate. They shared friendly glances and smiles and that was about it. After the meal, it was time to pay. Emily saw Alvez take out his wallet. "You don't have to-" she started to reject. "It's the least I can do. After all, anda invited ME." Alvez cut her off, looking at her in a way that made her melt. She regained her composure so Alvez wouldn't get suspicious. "I've heard alot about this place. I just never had time to come." he stated. "It is one for the books." Emily replied.

The bill got paid and the two left. The whole car ride, Emily couldn't get that feeling off her mind. She tried everything to think about something else, but it was no use. She had been in relationships before, but they never lasted. She knew she had to run away from the possibility she had feelings for a co-worker. atau at least felt something for a co-worker. She knew if she dated a co-worker and something happened to them, she'd never be in her right mind again. In some fields, it isn't even allowed.

"You OK?" Alvez asked and Emily winced. "You haven't berkata anything in a while." he mentioned. "Oh, it's this baru-baru ini case. It's got me alittle worn out." Emily lied. "Me too! I thought we'd never get out of that town." Alvez replied. The BAU had a rather grueling case in Louisville, Kentucky, where they had to find an unsub who abducted young college graduates to lure them into his murderous traps. Emily took a deep breath in order to calm her nerves. Alvez looked at her.

"Would anda like to come sejak my place for a night-cap?" he asked. Emily didn't have the hati, tengah-tengah to reject his offer. "I'd Cinta to." she answered smiling. *This is only him returning the favor.* she thought as Alvez turned the car and started down his place. It took her a long time to convince that to herself. Deep down, she knew he'd never do anything extreme, but she had to be extra careful. She was tranced out of her thoughts when the car suddenly stopped.

"That bozo almost hit me!" Alvez exclaimed. "You okay?" he asked as he turned toward Emily. "Yeah, I'm fine." she answered. "Are anda okay?" she asked. "Me? I'm fine. Not so sure about my car, though." Alvez answered, making a fairly crude remark at the end. "Maybe we can get out real quick and take a look." Emily suggested. Alvez didn't hesitate to take her offer. He turned the car into the nearest clearing and he and Emily got out to see if there was any damage. "Luckily, only a scratch..." Emily stated. "Thank God! I do NOT have the money for a repair right now." Alvez replied.

Just then, he heard the smash Keith Urban hit "Somewhere In My Car" come on. "You wanna dance?" he asked. Emily felt a bottomless pit form in her stomach. "I'm not so sure. There could be people who live near this place..." she answered half-lying. "We're out in the middle of nowhere! No one will know." Alvez replied. Without further atau due, Emily chose to dance. "Yeah, I'd Cinta to." she answered smiling. Alvez turned the song up as loud as it would go and took her hands. Staying sejak the car, the two danced like there was no tomorrow. For a while, Emily forgot all about the possibility of having feelings for Alvez.

She danced and swayed with him to every song on the radio. While there were PLENTY of upbeat songs, there were also slow songs, too. While slow-dancing to the slow songs, Emily felt the comfort and safety of being held in Alvez' embrace. She didn't dare let go. Alvez didn't dare let go, either. Emily had yet to figure out a secret, though-Alvez felt the same way about HER. He just didn't know how to tell her yet.
