I'm feeling an artikel forming so I'll just settle down, miss lunch and type out why Damon and Elena will be endgame...ahem...
Every now and then I will pick out an episode of The Vampire Diaries and fast ke hadapan to the scenes with Damon and Elena, yesterday I was in the mood for a bit of DE scanning and like a few times before I had this weird sort of feeling of realization. This has happened before, most of the times afterwards I would go write an artikel on DE.
I was watching Season 1 Episode 3.
Who was the one in the room with Elena menunjukkan us that what Stefan was Penulisan in his diary was a lie? It was Damon. I think this is where we see the first signs of his humanity. Already in episode 3. If Damon was just 'there' for entertainment, then his feelings wouldn't have been shown so early.
Damon was the one in Elena's bedroom while she was sleeping, he didn't try to kill her, atau drink her blood, he simply caressed her face. In the seterusnya episode when Damon was explaining to Elena about the one the Salvatores Lost in the church api, kebakaran Damon displayed true emotion. He was the one with the true ability to feel.
Which means that at the same time that Stefan was falling in Cinta with Elena, so was Damon.
He may not have known it but he was.
In fact, while he was in her room the song 'Temptation' was playing in the background. Just listening to it for the first time, it sounds like it was mean for SE but after Membaca the other lyrics anda see that it wasn't:
'Just like a feeling,
I need, it's no joke.'

This whole Elena and Damon thing isn't just a game, atau a sideline. Its actually happening.

I know I'll always try
To break the bulatan
That has been placed round me'
I like the think of this as referred to Elena. A lot of SE peminat-peminat think that SE is set in stone, there is a bulatan around Stefan and Elena that they will be together.
Why would the writers spend SO long building up Elena and Damon's relationship, romantic atau not, if it was just going to end with SE. I mean honestly.
The way I like to look at it, is that Elena was with Stefan just as the beginning and to give us a little distraction before Elena and Damon become friends, etc.
Plus, in the first episode, the introduction of Damon is...electric. The music, his smile. Goosebumps, well from my end anyway.
In the beginning I liked Stefan. I thought nothing of Damon, he even irritated me, but then around the 20/21th episode/s I found myself being happy that Damon was in Cinta with Elena. And I was very happy about the 'kiss'. When I got my mom to watch it, she went through the same thing. Hate Damon, Like Stefan, Start Liking Damon, Cinta Damon, Hate Stefan. In my opinion it was structured, an as the change happened, your thoughts of the show, sort of 'grew up', but that never happened to the SE-ers. I guess, that they're sort of, stuck in that part.
