ABC and fox Censors Plus-Size Pakaian dalam Ad - Airs Victoria Secret
Babes in bras seem to be all over the boob tube -- unless those babes happen to be a little big. Lane Bryant is accusing fox and ABC of a "double standard" over restrictions for their new Pakaian dalam commercial.

Is this a double standard? Should lingerie ads of any sort be aired during prime time/family television? Is the Lane Bryant ad somehow more offensive than the Victoria Secret ad?
The Lane Bryant add: it's quite tame, innocent. The lingerie is classy and so is the commercial. Yes, there's cleavage but that's about it.
The Victoria's Secret add: definitely a bit more out there. The image projected in the commercial is a more sexy, less classy than Lane Bryant's add. They understand that 'sex sells'
Like I said, I personally have nothing against both adds. But I think that the Victoria's Secret add is more sexy and don't see the problem that if you show that one, with the Lane Bryant add.
Double standard? Seems an awfull lot like it. I don't really know the reasons of the network for refusing it and the pessimist in me thinks that Victoria's Secret just pays more and therefor the network is more lenient.
As long as lingerie adds show people with lingerie on them should be fine during family television. There's nothing more to see on them than when you take your children to the beach (on the beach you might see more).
In no way I think the Lane Bryant add is more offensive than the Vicotoria's Secret add: I think it's kind of tame and innocent and also quite classy.
