Originally, this artikel was supposed to be a full countdown. However I couldn't decide any of the placings. Instead, I give anda a bahagian, atas three smartest princesses article.

Side note: When I mean smart, I'm talking about how much knowledge they have and how logical their thinking is.

3. Elsa

I guess this might surprise people, but it seems perfectly logical to me. Elsa has a lot of knowledge (as revealed in "A Sister lebih Like Me"). She spent hours a hari studying while she was inside her bedroom. Also, she's 21. That means she must have at least a universiti level understanding of pretty much all basic school subjects. The only thing that stops Elsa being saat place is her decision making. I felt too many of her decisions were rash and motivated sejak fear.

2. Mulan

I think Mulan HAS to be the most tactical and logical thinking of all the girls. She knows how to win battles, despite the fact she is telah diberi no training. Most impressive of all: she saves a whole country. And how does she save China? sejak making logical decisions! The only thing that lets her down is her education. I get the feeling her parents cared lebih about getting her a husband than giving her a wealth of knowledge.

1. Belle
Belle is sejak far the smartest princess. You'd be a bit of a fool to deny it - the whole town is jealous of her brains! Plus, she reads all the time. Those buku must teach her a lot of things. Also, there are many studies that Membaca vastly improves English, Maths and Science skills. I don't have many problems with her decision making either. I know a lot of people think she was 'dumb' to go to the West Wing, but I'd say it was just scientific curiosity. Besides, Belle sort of needed to know what was there. What if there had been a tower of dead bodies atau something? The only dumb thing about Belle going to the wing was the fact that she got caught (and that was out of her hands).

That concludes another countdown. Thoughts?

truth76 hmmm, Mulan is smarter than Belle.

dclairmont I don't agree with number one at all. Rapunzel is my number one. She has knowledge of astronomy, candle-making, painting, reading, and more, and she learned all of that stuff on her own! The fact that Belle reads fairy tales doesn't make her some genius or something. She doesn't even have common knowledge to stay away from the one place she wasn't supposed to go to. Although Rapunzel can be a bit not knowing sometimes, she has an excuse, she's never left her tower. Nice article though

Annabethandco It's a valid point, but if Rapunzel had read 'fairytales' like Belle, she might have realised that a tiara was not for the wrist. And don't forget that Rapunzel went where she wasn't supposed to too. She left her tower. I get your point, but I have to disagree. ;) Thanks for reading though

Silverrose1991 I agree with dclairmont. I didn't read "A Sister More Like Me", so I can't disagree in Elsa, who seems like someone very intelligent. I have to disagree in some things: I don't think Belle should have gone to the West Wing, and I don't think it was for "scientific curiosity", but rather for some moments of excitement. Of course, I can't really contest that, because that's never exactly explained in the movie. The thing I really disagree is when you say: "the whole town is jealous of her brains". Uh, no. They disapprove of her reading, because they don't think women should read. And like dclairmont pointed out, she read fairytales and adventure books (I'm not bashing Belle, because she's my favorite/second favorite princess, and we share the same taste in books). But I like the article and I agree in Mulan!

MacytheStrange ^ I actually always thought that Belle went there because she hadn't resigned herself to being trapped in the castle: she wanted to make the Beast let her go. So when he kept on telling her to stay out of the West Wing, for all she knew it could be because there was be something in there that could weaken him and allow her to escape. And besides, what else could she do? But I do agree with Dylan about Rapunzel. Nice article anyway, you explained yourself well.

Tygers_Eye I think this list is very well-argued, though as far as the comments are concerned, I would like to point out there are different kinds of smarts; book smart, street smart, etc. Also, knowledge and intelligence are not necessarily the same. Someone can be well-read but not very bright in their day-to-day life, or not be very well-read or well-educated but still be quick-witted, resourceful, etc. It's hard to judge though because, again, there are different kinds of intelligence for different situations. In Mulans' parents defense too, they're peasants living in ancient rural China. No peasants were formally educated back then. They rarely had time or resources. They were more focused on earning enough to eat. (The boys just needed to learn to work the land or fight in the army to feed their families, and girls to work in the house and rear children.) If anything, Mulan's parents are remarkably lenient and open-minded compared to their society, as they love her and support her no matter what, and we see she enjoys more free time and opportunity to read than parents at that time would have allowed their daughters. Ah well. Overall, a good read. =)

Giyane I think it should be Mulan, then Elsa, than possibly Rapunzel or Belle. Very nice list though!

prussiaducky I like your list, and well written :) although I think Rapunzel is a bit smarter than Belle

awkwardanna I agree on a knowledge standpoint (which was part of what you said) but then the other half (logic) I'd have to say Belle shouldn't be first - she's book smart, not street smart, though you cited both (logic and book-smart). Great article though, very well done.

CRaZy_rawR I find Rapunzel the smartest of them all, then Mulan. I don't find Belle intelligent, more book smart I would say. She reads books, but she even herself says she reads fairy tales and fiction stories. But it was a well written article.

Disneyfan2004 Well, I have to disagree with this list. Belle reads books, but you can't call that smart! And Elsa too. She's... not intelligent at all, I think. Spending time studying? We're talking about logic, not learning hard!

I doubt if this artikel belongs here but since we have similiar lists for Esmeralda and Meg, I decided to siarkan it here. Here is kegemaran DP senarai I believe princess Mei from Mulan II would have. Mei highly values romance and also admires people with Brave and rebellious personality.
P.S. I am planning to do the same lists for Ting-Ting and Su but these are going to be lebih difficult to make.

Everyone has their personal ranking of their kegemaran Disney Princessess n thoughts of who should b included. In my eyes, this is the ranking of the maidens from the house of mouse:

15. Aurora, indeed the sleeping beauty is beautiful, elegant, n has a heavenly opera voice, unfortunately she has little agency in her own story n personality.

14. Anna, a spunky n cute go getter but most of the other princesses that have come before her have these traits checked off too.

13. Moana, a real cookie cutter of a modern Disney princess, she is pretty much just an ethnic variation of Anna but is ahead one...

An Assortment of Thoughts on Pocahontas (Film)

Pocahontas is one of those Disney films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie lebih than I currently do and understand why some peminat-peminat revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most baru-baru ini rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

I don't really like Lindsay Ellis at all but I never thought I'd see the hari where I agree with her on something and she'd have a video that perfectly sums up my issues with Disney in baru-baru ini years.

I was watching her Beauty and the Beast 2017 review and she was basically complaining about how years of whiny, nitpicky nobodies on the internet like anda and me going on and on about "stereotype" this and "problematic" that regarding Disney Filem has pretty much resulted in the hot keldai messes modern Disney films are today. Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!).
