Mmm. This one, Pocahontas, and the WIR2 option. The rest, I don't agree on. Triton was worse than Fa Zhou was in my opinion. I really see more similarities between Belle and Tiana, and they are more alike than different. Both are reserved types, keeping to themselves. They have goals that don't seem to involve other peers, and they seem to enjoy looking down their noses at others. Ariel and Jasmine have more similarities ( both get frustrated with life, have tempers, and run away), than Ariel and Belle do. For example, Ariel is definitely a risk-taker and a go-getter, and Belle is never going to do anything risky. The one risk Belle took was to go snooping in the Beast's West Wing against his permission. It ended badly, with Belle almost being mauled by wolves, so Belle is probably not eager to take risks. Belle just is not a go-getter. Tiana, like Belle, doesn't take any risks. The one risk Tia takes ( kissing a frog) screws her over, and makes her even less likely to do any risky behaviors. Tiana while determined, is also not a go-getter. She vocally complains at every obstacle she meets, while true go-getters don't fume at other people. They just cry a small bit at the setback, buck up, and find a way to move around the obstacle. Tiana would just yell at the wall in front of her. So I'd pair Belle/ Tiana/ Cinderella, and Ariel/Mulan/Jasmine/Merida, if I were doing matches of personality.

Rapunzel is cute, but I didn't, when the movie first came out, consider her to be gorgeous. There's nothing wrong with baby-faces. It's just not what I would find beautiful. To me, Governor Radcliffe is a weaker villain, than say Hades, Ursula, Shan Yu, Scar, and Claude Frollo. Mulan's engagement outfit isn't my favorite on her. It's okay, but I'm happy she didn't have to marry picks-his-nose.

I only agree with this one and Rapunzel one. But especially this one, Belle is stuck at same boring place and wanted more exciting life and adventure somewhere outside of her place, much like Ariel and Jasmine. Instead I don't find what makes Belle is very similar with Cinderella and Tiana. Maybe Belle and Cinderella dreams but just that. Belle and Tiana? They're really oppose each other in personality-wise. Belle is imaginative and Tiana is much more realistic person.

Eh. They're not going to have identical personalities. Realism and imagination are two halves of the same coin. They don't necessarily cancel each other out. Is Lottie realistic? No, but she is Tia's best friend, and more like Belle is, in certain ways ( believing in wishing on stars and being interested in princes in disguise aren't that far off from one another).

Honestly, They all take risks. But I see Cinderella, Belle, and Tia taking fewer risks, than Ariel, Mulan, Jasmine, and Merida do.

And the Belle one. Disagree with the rest.

wavesurf, I think Belle, while passive( although I find Jasmine somewhat passive too), is still risky sometimes to the point of being reckless. The West Wing incident, being outspoken and argumentative with Beast. I think the way she acted towards Beast is how Cinderella's haters wanted her to act towards Tremaines. Yes, the audience knows that confronting and disobeying Beast is less dangerous than confronting and disobeying Tremaines but not that before the wolf incident Beast gave Belle any good reasons to consider him harmless.
Belle and Tiana may both look down at others... But each of them also embodies the type of people the other one is annoyed by the most.

What do YOU dislike of Mulan's WiR2 oufit?

I don't like Mulan's varsity jacket. Like, it screams "Mean Girls" to me and clique-ish. It does not fit Mulan's personality at all.

Well, the screenwriters gave Belle the less costly risk than they gave to Cinderella. That doesn't mean that Belle's personality suddenly resembles Ariel's. Is Belle friendly? I mean, genuinely openly friendly. Not coming up to select people in town, and asking them pointed questions. But like Ariel's friendliness--- which is meeting someone new, and automatically making them part of her life. No, Belle does not do that. Belle and Ariel aren't similar to me for that, and other reasons.

Rapunzel is like Ariel. She walks up to someone new, and automatically makes them part of her life.

@Adelital: Yeah. But I definitely disagree on Belle and Ariel being similar. Besides dreaming ( and every princess in the lineup has dream qualities)---Belle and Ariel don't even have the same interests, and they don't engage with people the same way at all.

This is really the only one I agree with. I like Mulan’s outfit but like disnerdtobe said I think it’s overrated

I kinda agree that Fa Zhou definitely wronged mulan but idk if I agree that it was on the same level as the way Triton wronged Ariel

Aurora is sweet and shy, and I liked that about her since I was a child.

I also agree that Belle is like Jasmine and Ariel.

Like Ariel, Belle wants to be a part of a different world, like the ones from her story.

Like Jasmine, she also is a strong and bold character that can have a temper and fight back against both the Beast and Gaston like Jasmine did to the people treating her like a prize to be won.

Wanting to be a part of a different world is not such a common trait. I don't want it and I think Mulan doesn't. Pocahontas, despite her curiosity, I think also doesn't, she seems attached to her roots.

This and I agree with the Belle one.
