There were always signs that they liked each other, and they were arguing like an old married couple even from the time they were eleven XD It didn't become obvious until fourth year, when Ron showed his complete and utter jealousy after Hermione went to the Yule Ball with Viktor, atau even in the sixth book when Hermione showed her complete and utter jealousy after Ron started dating Lavender.
