After a morning jog with his friend, a man named Ed returns utama to find his spouse sick in bed. Elyce has remained there for days. At the hospital, Cameron tells House that the patient has been sleeping 18 hours a day, but the tests don't reveal anything.

He quit. He finally quit. He walked out on her, and the hospital. A huge weight that had been there ever since they met, lifted off of her chest. She was free of his critisism, his sarcastic comments, of him. She realized she could do better and that it was time to alih on.
